I use this for my home entertainment system. Great quality. Sound is amazing matched with my 65" screen it is just as good as going to the movie theater. I deafantly have spent less $$ at the movie theater, since I've upgraded my sound system with this receiver and speakers .

Just wow. I’ve been a fan of klipsch for a while. Bose is good, yes, but they’re hyped up. Klipsch horn technology and really put HQ/HD fidelity into the sound since a lot of streaming media has audio compression. Clarity is nice and boy the surround height speakers just blows your mind. The onkyo tx-nr696 does a great job. Value for money combined with performance is a dangerous combination!!!!!! ... show more

    • A great system for the price!
This combined system does not disappoint. Full rich surround with earth shaking effects from the sub-woofer. Every bit as good as a theater experience right in your own home. Movies, TV shows and sports all take on a new dimension in sound. Highly recommended and it looks great as well!

    • Poor customer service
The third time i used this home theatre system the receiver shut itself off and no longer works. I contacted the seller. The next day they replyed that i should contact the manufacturer to troubleshoot. Spent an hour on the phone with onkyo to find out that it is indeed defective and was told to contact the seller to get a replacement. I have yet to receive a reply from adorama (the seller). I says it may take up to 48 hours for a reply. This whole process has wasted hours of my time. I dont recommend buying from this seller ... show more

Be aware I only received a single tracking number from Amazon. Each item should have its own. I contacted Adorama support directly and they were fantastic in helping to gather all the tracking numbers. Everything arrived as expected and the system sounds fantastic together. No issues after spending a bit of time tuning everything. Movies sound great, crisp, and clear. Musicast sounds fantastic, and we love the 12 inch sub to help get things rolling.     • Yamaha Receiver stopped working
The Yamaha receiver stopped working after 11 months. We only use this maybe once a week. Red light of death. I guess this is an ongoing problem with the Yamaha RX-V4A. Speakers are great but amp is horrible.
