This was very reasonable to install. I was fortunate in that the wall I used to mount the unit was just above my circuit breaker box. I'm just a handy homeowner; not a professional by any means. The fact the outside box needed two 30-amp fuses that weren't included threw me for a loop initially. But, I ran down the street to the local hardware store and got 2 fuses for about $6. I had a fireplace chimney blocking me from using the natural bend of the refrigerant lines so I bent them on the other side of the unit. This added to the complication of getting the lines outside and down from the second floor. We have a wooded area on that side of the house, so I didn't worry about the ascetics (it's not real pretty!). If I had neighbors on that side I would go ahead and buy the line cover kit. I had to mount a couple of boards on the side of the house to hold the outdoor unit. The feet on the outdoor unit are spaced 17" apart so I couldn't just lag bolt the supports to the house. All and all it took me 4 partial days and 5 trips to hardware stores. We are very happy with it and my wife's only regret is we've lived here for 10 years and now the spare bedroom is finally comfortable. ... show more

    • Pretty straight forward.
Install was pretty direct and easy to follow the instructions. Electrical connections are subpar from the whip to the unit. Recommend buying some connectors to use for this. Dropped it down to 4 stars because of the support. Sent a query to their support team and never got a response. I was able to figure it out but some response would of been appreciated. ... show more

This item was fairly simple to install, it had all parts for complete installation. Impressed with amount of power used to run the unit compared to the same size window unit. Only small issue I had to mount gussets on the wall brackets to keep them square. Great product.

This product is awful! We ordered this and it worked fine, then it stopped working. I called the company with my warranty information and it took 5 months to get any help! Then they said they were sending 2 products to replace and they only send 1 and it still won't work! They will not answer the phone or return any messages! This is a total joke and waist of money! The media could not be loaded. Had a portable cooler/heater that worked ok. Took the plunge and bought thus. Runs totally quiet I'm comparison. You wouldn't even know it's on. Changes temperature in the room really quickly. I manage my energy on an app and this thing barely tips the watts in my book. So so worth the money. The price is great. ... show more
