In assembling this chair, I noticed one of the pre-drilled holes in the chair wasn't created properly. Since I don't have a drill, I was unable to put a screw in that one, so it's not as stable as it might be otherwise. I was also quite confused about putting the legs on, until I realized you need to take apart the connection ring (that came in one piece), insert the legs, and then reassemble the connection piece. The lever that should bring the seat up and down doesn't work. The instructions say this is good for people up to 300 lbs. I would not recommend that at all. The chair seems flimsy and the seat is very small. I'm 120 lbs. and I'm only using temporarily, so I hope it will at least last a while. But, I think this chair could be dangerous for a heavier person. If you're lighter weight and just want to get something cheap and aren't that concerned about quality, this might fit the purpose for a time. ... show more

I needed something that fit nicely in a small space but also would sit a bit higher than a traditional chair. This fit the bill. The seat is not soft but it’s not uncomfortable either.
