To give credit where credit is due, this little stool was a piece of cake to assemble. It also gives off a vibe that it might be stronger, more sturdy than one would think looking at the finished product. Even while I was assembling this stool, I was looking at it sideways - it looked too small. And the casters work great. The seat of the stool is 12"-13" in diameter. This is a hard target for my ass to hit and stay attached - especially because the casters allow this stool to skitter all around the place. The casters form a circular base of aprox 13" on the floor. All told, this is an unstable configuration - the Center of Gravity is too high - if one were to try and roll across the floor. MY stool seems to have a sense of humor. It tries to get out from under me, constantly - like it has a relative to visit in the next County - it shoots across my work area. This stool is light which makes it a little squirrelly. The seat is too small for a normal masculine Gluteous Maximus structure. And the wheel base is too small to offer any real stability - you'll be meeting the deck if you spend much time riding this little devil. ... show more

This is the worst chair I've ever had the misfortune to sit on. I've been to the torture museum and there is a place for this chair there. Or should be. The seat is infinitely small. My hamster fell off of it. I needed a microscope to find it. There is no cushion. It is harder than reading a Pynchon novel on a windy mountain with mariachi music blasted in your ear. My back will forever hate me for sitting on this "chair". My butt has stopped functioning for having ruined it on this so-called chair. Don't just skip by, immediately take this chair out of your memory and delete the image from your life. You will be happier having never known its existence. ... show more

I really wanted to like this stool. I bought it because it had a back attached to the seat. I should have been more concerned with the wheel base, because it is too short or narrow. The first time I leaned back it nearly threw me to the floor...not something you want to try more than once. And so I returned it. End of a short story. ... show more
