First,ignore the Utube review. (assuming this will push air. Dont assume anything since word assume contains word @$$) PC fan has front and rear Front push air out Rear pull air in. PS5 need air OUT, and this fan will pull air out. So this will help temp low dramatically, and unless you are casual player or good AC environment, you want this. My PS4PRO I had PC cooler and 2 PC fans and it is still working after 9 years. I am expecting same for PS5Pro till PS6pro shows up. Unlike PC cooler, this device specifically fit to PS5Pro and easy to attach. In addition to that this has AUTO settings with therm o sensor.. If you can afford 700$ PS5Pro, go additional 20$ to make the life span longer.

This fan is super simple to install and doesn’t require tools. It clicks right into place and plugs into the back USB port, but still gives you that USB functionality back through its passthrough. The cooling is effective, and the fan noise is minimal and barely noticeable even in a quiet room. The auto mode works well and ramps up the fans based on system temperature. The one downside is the LED light. It stays on unless the entire unit is unplugged, which can be annoying if you don’t want extra glow. Still, it’s a clean fit, doesn’t block any ports or cables, and gives some peace of mind when it comes to heat management.

It works well. The auto on feature is very nice and the way it provides an additional USB plug so you don't lose an available USB when its plugged into one of the PS5 USBs is great. The additional noise it generates is moderate. The only thing I dislike about it is that you have to completely unplug it if you want the lights to be off.

The fan fits snug on the PS5 Pro. In both the on all the time and auto settings the fan is virtually silent. Installation is both quick and easy. Easy to recommend to anyone wanting to keep their investment cool.

This fan was super easy to install. I totally love the fact that it does use the USB port on the back without using it because it still has a pass through port on the fan so you you never lose the use of that port actually. The blue lights on the back are subtle enough yet still adds character to the PS5. The fan is really easy to operate with the 3 functions (off, on, auto). The auto mode seemed to work as advertised. I could hear the fans speeding up once the PS5 reached a different operating temperature. The one thing that I did not like is, in auto mode while the PS5 is in “Rest Mode”, the fan will remain on so long as power is being supplied to the USB ports. It makes sense that it would remain on because of this and maybe I’m asking too much for it to coordinate with the system functions of the PS5. But I would have liked for it to shut off with the PS5 even if in rest mode. I personally, use the rest mode function of the PS5 to charge controllers and my headset while in rest mode and it makes it simpler to pick up where I left off and quicker. This is isn’t really much of a show stopper as I can adjust how long power is supplied to the USB ports once it’s put into rest mode. Very easy to install, no tools required. It’s simple “plug n play”. It plugs into the USB port in the back and it somewhat snaps into an already existing slot on the back. It still allows all Ethernet, HDMI cables to be used and doesn’t interfere with them at all. Overall a very simple solution to providing more cooling to the PS5 and I’m pleased with it.
