I mainly purchased these just because the straps that come with the controllers feel EXTREMELY insecure to me (I play Beat Saber around 90% of the time), and I had used this brand when I purchased something similar for my original model Quest. The fact the price is so excellent just made it that much easier of a sell. With the last version I purchased, I was satisfied because they offered a much more secure feeling fit, and that's really all I was looking for. But with these, they have stepped up their quality in a BIG way. Now, not only do they offer a much more secure fit, they were incredibly easy to install (and the battery cover was a genius improvement as well), all while offering a MUCH more durable protection for the controllers themselves at the same time. And they managed to do all this while keeping the price nearly identitcal the 1st gen model from what I remember, so kudos for that. After being so satisfied with my purchase of these controller grips, I went ahead and bought the "elite headstrap" from the same company, and despite it being LESS than half of the official version, I think it's every bit as good, if not better. I personally will be sticking with KIWI for all my accessories going forward until they give me a reason to feel I can no longer trust them, which I just don't see happening based off the quality of the last two. I play a lot of aggressive VR games including Thrill of the Fight and these have significantly improved the experience. I focus a lot less on ensuring I maintain my grip on the controller and more on what I'm doing in the game.

I initially got them to play Beat Saber with so that I wouldn’t accidentally let go of my controllers. It works I guess, but not in the way that I expected. The material makes the controllers slightly thicker, which makes holding it just a little tiny bit more weird, but I got used to it. Plus, it adds more grip to the controller. The straps themselves are fine, but they aren’t really adjustable. The length they come in is the length you get, but technically you could stretch the Velcro to more of your size, but there is like a weird plastic piece in the Velcro that clearly separates it into two parts, making the adjusted part look strange. It didn’t really help my hands from slipping a lot. I’m fact, sometimes it confused me as I was feeling the strap down my hand and thinking that it was slipping off. Sometimes the bottom side of my hand would be sorta pinched between the silicone, making the movement of my hands uncomfortable. Though, the replacement of the battery compartment with an easier to use one is definitely a plus. I hate replacing the batteries as it’s always so difficult to do with the normal controllers, but with the replacement cover, it’s as easy as opening it up and pulling on the plastic film to take out the battery. Will definitely work really well with my rechargeable batteries. This is only with a high intensity game like beat saber though. I have not tried it on VRChat yet, but I think it would be excellent for hand gesture expressions when there is one that requires no fingers. I’ll probably keep these, but I was hoping for it to be more comfortable, at least for myself. ... show more

It's great to not hassle with the wrist straps anymore, plus you can open your hands fully without dropping the controller (adds to the immersion). The only bummer is, I wish the straps were made of cloth or something breathable. The backs of my hands (where the straps are) get sweaty, as do my hands from the rubbery texture. I bought these for my oculus controllersto help with gripping and comfort when playing. After getting them installed and adjusted to my hand size I feel that I made a great choice in purchasing these grips. I love the design that they can be fitted over your hand rather than your wrist to secure them. I've never been a fan of the wrist straps so I can definitely more happy with these grips and the material helps with your hands to retain grip even if your hand starts to sweat a bit. Love the idea of the easy to open battery door when you need to change batteries for each controller. I would recommend these for anyone that does more than social things with their oculus. ... show more
