When I first got my Quest 2 headset the straps that came with it gave me headaches every time I played and severely limited my play time unless I was feeling stubborn enough to deal with the pain. It'd be a safe bet after 2-3 hours of play (basically nothing for me), and sometimes much less than that, I'd have a pretty severe headache for the rest of the day. I installed this strap setup and the headaches are pretty much entirely gone. I've played for at least one full charge every day since I got this product and played for ~12 hours (including a charge break) the day before writing this review and the difference is beyond night and day. The worst thing I've experienced is occasionally a hair might get tugged but that has happened maybe once or twice so far. The strap and back pad are nice and soft. The adjustment is easy and doesn't change with gameplay (unlike the original strap) unless you change it yourself. The adjustment is controlled by a dial on the plastic section behind the back pad and clicks when tightening. The up and down pivot ability is also helping to keep the lenses cleaner too since as advertised you put it straight on then lower the strap setup rather than sliding it all down over your face and hair. Installation was very easy too. The worst part for me was the visor removal but that's just because I always do things like that slowly and deliberately to help make sure I don't break anything. It's really simple and easy to get it done. It's also making the use of a link cable easier as the side portions are flexible plastic allowing much better use of my cable's provided retention strap. There is no pressure at all on the sides of your head and the back pad cradles the back of your head in it's soft foam while the top strap sits like the original but is also made of that same foam. The artificial leather covering the foam it also very soft and smooth. The whole thing is significantly more comfortable and it does a significantly better job of distributing pressure without making you feel like your head is going to pop. It also adds a little weight to the back of your head giving a bit of counterbalance the old elastic straps couldn't provide. I've mostly played Hotdogs, Horseshoes, & Hand Grenades (which is an absolutely fantastic game btw) and some Pavlov since I got it and tend to be quick and aggressive with movements including turning. Provided it's properly adjusted it doesn't move. Still have to try Blade & Sorcery with it but I have no doubt it'll do every bit as well with that too. The only real issue I can think of is if you bend down too far and it's loose enough there's a risk of it falling off. Just don't try to look between your legs and keep it properly adjusted and you should be good lol. I'd rather deal with this minor risk than the relentless pressure of the original straps any day. This product made my Quest 2 much more playable and fun. Do yourself a favor and ditch the elastic straps your headset likely came with and buy one of these today. ... show more

I'm so glad I purchased this. When I got my Quest 2, I was hooked, but my time with the headset on was limited due to the headaches associated with the original strap. No matter how I adjusted it, it would not sit right unless I tightened the straps. I read the reviews and gave KIWI a try. I'm glad I did. I'm on day two and so far, no headaches and no having to constantly adjust during workouts. It feels well made and I love the flip-up ability and the memory foam headpiece is very comfortable. I don't usually write reviews for products like this, but when I do, it's the highest honor I can bestow for such an item. This strap has bettered my Quest 2 experience ten-fold. It is hands down one of the best head straps on the market for this headset. The ratcheting mechanism on the headset tightens on your head to provide the best fit, and once its on there, it STAYS on there. Even with the biggest of noggins, it finds a way to fit, no matter what. And the best part? It's comfortable. Period. When I have this on, I forget that it's even there. Not to mention that it pivots so you can take the headset off easier. All for $30, with better build quality than the official Elite strap. If you had thoughts about this and need a better experience with your new or already loved headset, this is a no-brainer. ... show more

This was the best thing I could buy to enhance my VR experience. The original Oculus Headset strap is not very comfortable after hours of playing and it doesn’t support the headset pressure on your face very well. The KIWI design Comfort Head Strap is better in every way. It takes the pressure off your face, it has padding for the back/top of your head, it’s adjustable & easy to install. Much more comfortable and less neck strain than the default quest 2 headstrap, but is difficult to wear with a headset (g432) and requires me to adjust the headstrap every time I need to take it off and on. Initially the lens also fogs up, but this only affects the first 5 mins of use. When assembling the headstrap make sure you have the correct orientation because it is possible to force it into the wrong orientation. I love this thing. It's made using my headset a lot more, and I mean a LOT more comfortable. The strap it comes with is garbage, and I don't know why something like this assembly isn't the default (aside from the obvious money making reasons). It helps offset the weight of the headset so you aren't constantly having to readjust. This has the added effect of relieving pressure on your face and lessens the indentations on your skin that you'd get by using the default setup. It's also much easier to wipe down and clean after a heavy beat saber session. The dial on the back also makes adjustment a breeze. Love this replacement head strap for my Meta 2! Before we got this it was always a struggle to get the VR to fit properly between my husband and I. But now, it adjusts super easy once you put it on and comes off easy without yanking your glasses off. The key to that is to lift the back of the headstrap before you remove the goggles from your glasses. And the padding is very comfortable. It really makes the VR feel much more balanced on your head too. It was very easy to install. It came with a couple extras, like a silicone cover for the joystick on the controller and a new face protector that goes around the edge of the goggles that touch your face. I did use the silicone joystick cover, but not the face protector yet. Will keep that for when the factory one gets worn out. ... show more
