Outstanding. Bought it for the audio improvement. I didn't want to mess with headphones or earbuds. Audio quality is very good and an order of magnitude better than the built in speakers. Comfort is also good, with bets feel on my face and head. I wish this had a fan built in, as i sweat a lot, but i think the audio improvement is more important than a fan. Obviously, the battery gives more play time, as well.

Kiwi Design has been making really nice gear for the Quest for quite awhile, and they definitely know what they're doing. This is a very well-designed head strap - the integrated battery balances the weight of the Quest nicely, and distributes it evenly over the entire head. The net result is the weight of the Quest largely seems to disappear. That stated, you'll find most quality head-straps will provide a similar effect for about half the price. What you're really paying for here are the supplementary speakers. Are they worth it? That would largely depend upon you, but in my opinion the answer is 'Yes'. The whole point of VR is to create an immersive experience, and the Achilles heal from the earliest days of the Quest has been audio. The K4 Duo (with speakers) makes decent strides in getting past that shortcoming. It's not perfect, but it's a step in the right direction. Lastly, Kiwi really presents this unit nicely. It would make a great gift for someone who really enjoys their Quest 3 or 3S.

I love Kiwi Design 's VR accessories, and this is no exception for quality versus cost. My only issues are the cost difference to add the audio. They are great and it is nice to have the audio upgrade, but I don't feel like the additional cost is justified for the cons it adds. Pros: Battery capacity is pretty good, adds about 3 hours in my experience Cost vs OEM strap is definitely better for the functionality Quality seems great and even packaging has improved Audio quality is a big step up from standard speakers without being ear buds Cons: Speakers make it not fit in any case that I've been able to try Speakers are better but not great quality vs the additional price Definitely feels like they took their other battery strap and just slapped these on versus redesigning with the speakers in mind Overall this is still a 5 star product, because you just can't discount the quality versus cost even with these minor cons. I'd personally give it like a 4.6, but that isn't an option so I'll round it up to 5!

I received the item the next day, and when I opened the Amazon box I was surprised by how nice the KiWi box was! The presentation was 100%. It was well laid out. Got it connected to my Q3 and was instantly impressed. I have used a handful of head-straps and this one is by far the best! The back and top of the head-strap feels very nice on my bald head, the speakers have a selection switch to toggle headphone audio or headset audio, nice added feature. The battery charged up nice, I used my 16ft cable to go into the back of the KiWi to charge and play via my quest link and so far no issues. I over all really like the build, Kiwi really makes some fantastic stuff! The quilty feels good sound is good and the speakers should be able to accommodate most peoples big and oversized heads along with the tiny little heads as the speakers and arms are very adjustable. It's just a really well made, well designed and yes it is in my book very expensive. I am coming from a head strap that had heavy removable batteries so this really makes it that much more newer and cooler for me. As of right now I would definitely look into this. If you got cash to blow and a new Quest or just need a new headstrap give this one a shot.

Another well designed product from KIWI. I purchased this for my Meta Quest 3. It comes in a very professionally designed box with nice graphics. Inside is the headset with battery and built in earphones, a very comfortable head strap, charging cable and great instructions for mounting. It was very easy to mount. First, it's probably the most comfortable headset I have tried for my Meta Quest. It's reasonably light and very well balanced such that it holds onto my head well and does not move around easily. The built in earphones sound great and are so comfortable. I appreciate them because not I don't have to wear yet another piece of gear to get good sound. The headset is very adjustable in so many ways. The battery is not the largest available on headset but it provides an honest 3+ hours of play before requiring recharging. I also tried plugging in my Kiwi charge cord while playing and it kept the battery fully charged and allowed for infinite play. I have found Kiwi products to be so well designed. It's obvious that they listen to games when designing products for gamers and I appreciate that. This unit is made from good quality materials and should last a very long time. I am very satisfied with this headset and it has become my headset of choice for my Meta Quest 3. I recommend!
