These scissors are quite affordable and very high quality, especially for such a low price! They look very nice. I love the aqua pair the most. They are lightweight and very easy to use, even for someone with arthritis and limited dexterity. They are very sharp and cut through all sorts of materials easily and smoothly. They are durable and have not rusted or dulled despite thousands of uses and multiple trips through the dishwasher. If they ever wear out (which I doubt they will), I’ll definitely buy them again.

Don’t let the low price for you. These scissors for the kitchen are wonderful. The one drawback – if you could call it a drawback – is that you really should hand wash these to prevent rust. The directions say also to add a little bit of cooking oil to the hinges to the blades periodically. Other than that, these things cut nicely, have a nice cover to prevent you from accidentally stabbing yourself, while reaching for them in the drawer, and wash well. I would buy these again, but I doubt I’ll need to.

a bit lightweight, but super sharp and cut through bags, fabrics and other containers with ease. Haven't tried on meat or poultry but seem like they are stout enough for smaller jobs. Definitely sharper than my previous kitchen shears!

these seem good quality. I like the blade guard. They are slightly larger than I expected but work well. I used them today to cut up some vegetables and they cut very well. They are very tight, hard to open/close quickly as I do when I cut vegetables. If they don't loosen up they won't be much good to me at all. Note~ I am 75 but have no trouble using any other scissors. It would take me a very long time to cut up one vegetable if I use this alone. I don't have time for that.

This is my second time purchasing these scissors and not disappointed. In fact I bought extra this time and threw away all my old scissors. The sharpness on the previous lasted about 1.5 years, yes it declined over time but that is a given. I did not try sharpening because I find sharpening scissors to be a challenge. Definitely worth it!
