The knife set contains different varieties of knives, whether I am cutting chicken chop or making vegetable salad. First I have to say I am used to high quality knives, but I needed a new knife block to I thought I would try the a few knives to see how they handled. Let’s just say after sharpening and honing I couldn’t get a clean cut on multiple food products they all got donated. My sister who’s standards are not as high as mine tried them and said they were the worst knives she had ever used. She has a ikea knife set she uses at home. I haven’t bought new knives in years. And these were a welcomed surprise. They’re sharp. cut right through pork chops I was eating. Really like that. The steak knives are longer than my old ones. Not sure what the standard is but these are nice - I like the extra blade room when cutting steaks. Handles feel good. I don’t know if these are full tang but they feel sturdy and the chefs knife has a solid feel to it. Definitely not cheap feeling like others I’ve used. Great buy for the price. ... show more
