To be fair this knife set was less than $7.00 with the coupon. I actually purchased the set as an experiment (think: lots of knives being sold, higher cost; no-name seller, with no reviews, low-cost). But, that said, here's the deal: 1. The knives look nice enough for the price. No problem. Picture is accurate. 2. The chef knife cuts well enough. But it is not _super_ sharp like other knives (at a higher price point). It will eventually need sharpening. When that occurs, goodbye titanium sheen! 3. The 4 and 4.5 knives are, well, dull. I mean, dull. They are no better, actually they are worse, than your average, everyday, knife. They should be called 'prop' or 'display' knives. 4. As per the description: "It provides the best performance for slicing, dicing, and mincing all kinds of meat, vegetables, fruits, and bread." No. No, it does not. 5. As per the description: "Besides, the unique technology of black titanium plating not only effectively improves the hardness and enhancing non-stick properties of the blade, but also makes the knife look elegant and mysterious." When I read that (before I bought it), I laughed. Who buys a knife that looks mysterious? And it isn't exactly elegant either. That said, the covers are a nice touch. And, to the seller, the titanium is not a 'unique' technology. You are just finding a spot, at a low price point, and trying to fill it. Heck, I bought the set, right? Bottom line? You get what you paid for. I would have asked for a refund. But, really? This set cost less than $7.00. It is probably worth less. If you shop for knives like this, look elsewhere. There is a reason this is the first review of this set. I decided to gamble. I lost (sorta'). Buyer beware. Oh, one last thing, again, as per description: "Design by modern garden-style workshops, with a series of the most advanced equipment and technology. Join our customer groups and enjoy more excellent Kitchen Knife products." Sure. Sign me up. Send me some of your other knives. I'd love to help you actually ship a better product, at a higher price, so that you don't just cater to the low-end (and I say that partially as a joke, given that I own knives that cost . . . well, you get it). But I love the fact that these were designed for the kitchen, I assume, but based on 'modern garden-style workshops' (whatever that means). Cut my grass, chop my onions?!?! Oh, one more (last, I swear) thing: the picture of the cut strawberries next to the cut sausage had me laughing. Like I said, this was an experiment in buying.
