I bought this mandolin guard to replace my old one which had cracked from use. The new guard works with my existing mandolin. The two look like they were made for each other. I would recommend this to keep your fingers safe.

It’s a bit bulky, yet a bit flimsy. It works well until you get to the last couple of slices then it doesn’t really hold the vege tight enough to finish it off. But better than slicing my hand by not having it

After loosing my original food holder (and cutting my palm) I was looking for a replacement. This functioned as well as the original and made very fast work of the vegetables I needed to prep.

I thought this would be a lifesaver after slicing a lice of my thumb off grading cheese last year. This only works well if you have the right size cheese. You have to cut it down small enough to fit into the hole so the prongs can stick in it but then she it starts getting close the prongs start to drag on your grater.
