We're remodeling our kitchen. Using a one-burner induction hot plate for the duration. This set of pans arrived two days ago--promptly. I've only used the skillet with nice deep sides so far. After a slight bit of trouble getting it started, it worked just fine. Responded well to the heat settings. The trouble getting it started may well have been due to my induction hot plate. The pan is heavier than I expected. Actually more comparable to my other stainless steel pots and pans than anticipated, and they cost A Lot more. The handle did not heat up on me. The pan has some heft to it. The entire set, though on the smallish side, at this point appears to be quite adequate for the remainder of the month (at least) of waiting for the gas cooktop and wall ovens to be installed. (FYI, After a month of cooking on the glass induction plate I decided that's not the stove top source for me.) Bottom line: for the price this is a good deal. ... show more

This cookware is much lighter weight than the Kitchen Aid set we got as a supplement. It is easy to clean, and appears to evenly distribute the heat so far.

    • not bad, but oil it up well
nice steel, lightweight, but downside is that food burns. if you're making a broth/sauce you gotta stir constantly, if you're frying you gotta add enough oil and flip frequently.
