  • So much fun! They actually work well.
My sister and I had so much fun using these. It's a funny "gag" type gift that actually works! No time to pencil in perfectly arched brows? Have an unsteady hand? Bad lighting? No patience? In this day and age of brows being the IT feature on the face, this was a welcome invention that makes a very nice arch. If you want thicker brows? Just re-stamp them a little bit higher or lower. And they are a LOT of fun stamping brows on things that dont have them ... like babies, and bald men with sparse brows, and balloons, and stuffed animals. We laughed so hard. So this gets 5-stars for being fun, affordable, and practical! ... show more

  • Doesn't work
I didn't realize this was foam. It probably wouldn't be too bad if it wasn't so tall. When applying, you have to press down a little bit, but the foam is not firm, so it kind of wobbles and squishes and gives a bigger stamp print than what you want. It was very difficult to work with. I gave it at least 5 tries, but I could tell that no matter how much I practiced, it wouldn't work for me because the applicator isn't firm enough to work with. Also, the handle of the stamp is in the way so it's hard to see where exactly the stamp will land. That definitely takes some practice. You also have to rock it a little bit, so that causes inaccuracy too. I'm glad it wasn't too expensive. ... show more

  • I REALLY wanted to like this product.
The media could not be loaded. I made a stupid mistake back in the 90s and I had my eyebrows tattooed. But since the tattoo is higher than my natural brows, I have to shave my eyebrows off and just draw them on. But now I'm over that penciled look and am always looking for the newest eyebrow product on the market. So when I saw the Kiss I-Envy Eyebrow Stamps, I knew I just HAD to try them. I mean, I have no eyebrows, so this would be fool-proof for me, right? The shape you see on the outside of the stamp is deceiving. On the outside you see a lovely thin arched eyebrow, which is is how I usually design my eyebrows. But the actual sponge applicator is thicker. So keep this in mind! To use the product for the first time, just put that spongy thing into the plastic stamp. Then press the stamp into the powder, ensuring that the entire sponge is covered in color. Then just press onto your eyebrow and hope for the best. My first impression was that it was thick! A little too thick. Like Groucho Marx thick. If you don't know who he is, just picture those fake glasses with eyebrows and a mustache - yeah those were designed after that guy. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, then you are probably too young to be wearing makeup. Just Google it, already! Anyway, at first I thought maybe I just wasn't doing it right, like maybe I moved the sponge around and smudged the makeup. So I moved over to the 2nd brow. Waaaahh!! It was also super thick. I figured that maybe I just need a little practice, so I wiped them off, covered my tattoos with makeup and started the process again. The 2nd time around I completely missed my eyebrow entirely. WTH! These are not fool-proof. And because you can't see behind the stamp, they are actually kind of hard to use. I am very sad about this. I REALLY wanted to like this product and I'm probably going to keep practicing with it. Maybe I'm just not used to having such thick eyebrows. But with my teeny tiny eyes, big bushy brows aren't really my thing. So unfortunately, at this time, I can't really use the stamp. But I will continue to use the powder. The color is nice and works well for me. And I will continue my search to find that perfect (elusive) eyebrow product out there for a girl with no eyebrows. Stay tuned... ... show more

  • Takes practice!
If you spend too much time filling in eyebrows that are not identical, thin in some places, impossible to shape in others without the possibility of over-plucking, this might be the product for you. I'm reviewing the dark brown Brow Stamp. Once you have the placement mastered, it can be a really useful product. Found it in my makeup drawer after a 5 year hiatus (eyebrow sponges/stamps & brow-color cake in same condition as when I first tried them!) Decided to give it another shot & this time, I must have hit the sweet spot in referencing a spot between my brows where the stamp should land. To explain: like most rubber stamps, the base is larger than the stamp itself, a sort of spheroid shape, pointed at both ends & made of acrylic. Although clear acrylic, it's still hard to see where the imprint will land. Usually it's too high (for me). Next time, I'm going to experiment with eyebrow pencil dot(s) between my brows to see if I can successfully use a reference point for more consistent results. I gave 5 stars, in spite of the time it takes to master the use of this product. Because really, how much time do you spend fussing with your brows & have them turn out half-baked anyway? For me, it was a lot. As one reviewer noted, if you don't like where the stamp lands, you can wipe it off & use pencil or pomade to fill in some spots. At least with the stamp, you have sort of a template. Overall, I'm very pleased with the product & was happily surprised to see it still available (for when I run out). Excellent if you have issues with shaky hands, hand fatigue/cramps & hate how uneven your brows look when penciled in. As a side note, I think this product, in a darker shade (except for blonds), perhaps, would be great for female impersonators. With eyebrows blocked out, this would give anyone perfect, beautiful eyebrows. I am not one, but I have known some in the past, who would have loved this product! Might be useful for other theatrical use for when trying to give different look to the face. ... show more
