Great soft feel fits perfect except the corner in the pic but has no other issues and is only visual and minor. Although the bottom grips on this were replaced also due to the rubber coming off so that could be why the matchup isn’t perfect your results may vary if you have original grips on yours . Love the look and feel of this . I had to replace the face plate due to when fixing my bumpers on my original pro controller the screw holes crumbled off on the original partially to where the screws wouldn’t hold tight does fit great and works great and feels great all the same time very happy would buy again.

Fits my standard Xbox One controller just as I expected it to (yes, the elite faceplates follow the same schematics as the original controllers, minus the cutout for the profile selector). The accent rings were half the reason I got this controller - to make my thumbstick a glide more smoothly around the edge of the faceplate. This did the trick wonderfully, as the rings are very smooth. The 3D texture does not stick out as much as it looks, and has a soft touch to it. My headset adapter still fits, which I am relieved about. It’s a great completion to my setup and looks great.

My new puppy decided to make a meal of my elite controller when I stupidly left it on my bed one day. Thankfully, he only ruined the shell and I decided to go fancy with a red one. It has a satin feel to it and it's really pretty. I don't mean pretty froo froo, it's just a really attractive deep ruby red. The paint is perfectly uniform. Guess what? I forgot it on the bed a second time and the puppy got to it again. I immediately bought another of these. Glad it's cheap enough to keep replacing and a hell of a lot cheaper than buying another controller. It was extremely easy to replace, too. Youtube is your friend. One word of advice - Don't forget to remove that 5th pesky screw under the sticker in the battery compartment.

I'm a little disappointed in the product after I saw all the great reviews. While I do like the faceplate replacement I received (It looks very nice and professional and has a very nice feel to it), it is slightly more raises than it should be. While it does fit, it does not fit properly. There is a slight gap all around the faceplate and the rest of the controller. Also, the start and select buttons along with the profile switched are now about the same level as the face and are not raised. I would really love to give this 5 stars. I don’t know if I just got a defective one. Everything but the slight raise is perfect. (I believe the raise is from the right and left stick hole) Edited After reviewing the product and about how I was unsatisfied with the slight raise, I was sent a new faceplate, without even being asked. Although the new faceplate doesn't fix the very slight raise issue, I think the customer service was perfect. I believe it was the right thing to do to send a new replacement to fix the problem without consulting me. Also, after using my controller for a while with the faceplate replacement, I do not notice the raise as much. I would now rate the faceplate 3/5 and the costumer service 5/5

Easy install, came with extra screws and the required screwdriver even though I didn't need either. The hardest part was getting the side grips off. I know better, but for those of you that don't, do NOT use a metal tool to get them off. Use something plastic that won't scrape up or bend them out of shape. The reason they are so hard to get off is because there is double sided tape in a couple spots, the clips aren't what's giving you so much trouble and you aren't about to snap one as you pull the tape up! The faceplate has a slightly different feeling to the old black one but it's still very luxurious and soft as far as plastics go and it's not a downgrade by any means in terms of tactile feel. The color is beautiful and the softness of the plastic gives it an ethereal glow just like in the pictures online. It looks just like it does on the amazon page. I saw that at least one reviewer mentioned there was some kind of "gap" between the bumpers and the faceplate so I made sure to carefully examine what that looked like before and after the switch. I can say for sure it's not any bigger than with the OEM faceplate. Maybe that guy just got unlucky, maybe he got it from a different seller, or maybe he didn't put the screws back in tight enough (careful on the tightness, though, I've broken enough controller screw holes and you don't want that to happen) EDIT: I clean my controllers with rubbing alcohol pretty regularly just to keep them feeling brand new in my hands and when doing this routine maintenance on this faceplate, the clear coat began to peel up. Now, I'm not going to deduct stars from this because it's not really that reasonable for me to expect that a nice paint job like this is going to stand up to my scrubbing it with 90% rubbing alcohol, but it's something you should keep in mind if you clean your controllers like I do. I ordered another one and I will be using 70% much more gently on the replacement.

Was surprised by the quality and fitment of this plate, fyi the middle screw is behind the sticker in the battery compartment, just push the screw driver through it.
