  • Good quality but with a major flaw
Quality of images was better than others that cost $50-$100 more but the major flaw is that you can’t move around or use them for a task because the lowest magnification puts the screen view past arms length. Imagine stretching your arm out and still not seeing it in the screen until it’s dead in front of the camera. ... show more

  • Using with the head strap was very heavy
The goggles alone light and really good. The strap does not feel heavy, but when you put it on it weighs your head down.

  • Worth it
Honestly this looks like a few grand worth of night vision for like 175 plus tax!? Insane! Even the photo quality is nuts I feel like in the right hands you can make that cash back especially a photographer though if im taking photos of dangerous animals I want a high zoom level.

  • Fun big toy for the price, but now without issue
Update: Playing it a bit more and noticed the flared view is significantly shifted to the right of the frame. This cannot be fixed. Another issue is the lenses don’t focus. This was not notice at the beginning but quite obvious when pointing to something with patterns/lines. The binocular does allow you adjust focal points so no way to see things clearly. For this price Have to return. Received and cannot wait to try. Don’t expected to be on par to a military level binocular like you see in movies. It’s a fun toy. Build quality is good. Lighted weighted. The strap and the pouch coming in the box are handy. Pay attention it required 6 AA batteries. ... show more

  • Zoomed in already
you can't use the head strap because you can't tell where you are walking. They are just zoomed in to far.

  • Fun toy and maybe light industrial use
I saw this is a really cool gadget. It works really good for short distance night vision viewing. I thought that the quality was extremely good. Like most night vision products, it throws a infrared light on the subject. Your eye can see the infrared light so to your eye it’s still dark. Then it uses a photo sensor they can see infrared. The result is in black-and-white. The thing that makes this maybe not so great is that when you have the night vision mode on there is a red light that is visible with the naked eye. So, if you were doing any kind of stocking of animals they would see this red light and would probably run away. I’ve heard that pigs can’t see a certain frequency of Green light, but I think red light is still noticeable by all the critters. I have taken a picture of the red light that I can see with my eye and posted it, I know it doesn’t look like much. Focus is manual by turning the eyepiece. You’ll notice that there are two cylinders attached to the end, one of these is the actual camera and the other one is the infrared light. It’s not like a pair of binoculars, you actually look into the boxy end. It also has a full color view so you could almost use it as a regular video camera, and it comes with a nice memory card so that you can use it out of the box. Well maybe not entirely out of the box, because you have to provide your own six AA batteries. Overall I think it’s a cute gadget, and I’m really glad that I have it. It may be good for some nighttime hunting just because I would be able to see where I was going without turning on a lamp. Of course looking at the TV screen inside will temporarily ruin your night vision. So just like any night vision device, it’s kind of a tossup. ... show more

  • Read the instructions, be patient, and these will light up your night(and day)!
I got this KINKA Night Vision Goggles Night Vision Binoculars, Travel Infrared Digital Night Vision for Adults in Total Darkness, HD Photo & Video with 32GB Card, for Hunting Gear, Surveillance, Spy, Military, for my personal use. My first impression was a good one. I found these to be solidly made, not a cheap plastic toy-like Night Vision Binocular. It comes with a carrying strap, carrying storage bag, USB connection cord, and a 32GB memory card. The price is remarkable for what it does. This can record video, take snapshots, and has IR for night vision. I found the directions good (even a 70-year-old guy like me understood them) and the markings on the Binoculars a great help. The location where you insert the supplied 32GB memory card, has a pictogram showing which side the notched edge show be inserted. The buttons are marked and do respond quickly, without exerting a lot of pressure on them. I had one stumble in the beginning, after I had inserted the 6 AA batteries(not included), it turned on but I could not get the buttons to switch to different modes or turn it off. I reopened one of the battery locations and as I moved one of the AA batteries, I heard a click, as it seated properly, after that everything performed as it should. I followed the instructions and set up the system using the menu button, took me a little playing around to get the idea on how to move the cursor type option choice, but I did it. I like the ability to use them in daylight, as I am fortunate enough to live in an area where, Hawk, deer, Bald Eagle, and other wildlife sightings are not uncommon. I really look forward to taking these to Disneys Animal Kingdom Lodge, where they have wildlife on a Savanna close to the hotel and the nighttime viewing should be great. So for now I would rate these a 4 Star but will revisit to update on its Night Vision. ... show more
