This hose is EXACTLY what I was looking for!!! This hose has the reinforced ridges that inhibit "kinking" so well! I won't buy any other kind of hose unless it has these "ridges". I have a contractor grade "kink-resistant" with the same type "ridges"... it is much heavier and MUCH more expensive, I love it, but I wanted a hose that was more lightweight, easier to manipulate, but still, "kink-resistant"... this hose grants me ALL those wishes! My wife wanted a new garden hose - 50 ft. It arrived and went right to the back yard. First The coloring of the hose is a bright green with a black stripe - I liked it. Easy to spot in the backyard since hoses don't always get returned to the faucet area after. use. Second My wife liked the weight of the hose - light and easy to move around. This is a good hose, and seems like good quality. I bought it just under a year ago and have had no problems. Live in DC and left it out in the winter (after draining it). Just started to leak at one of the brass fixtures, so I have to get a repair kit and replace the brass threaded section at one end. I don't know about you, but I expect a hose to last more than a year. ... show more
