I am plenty well versed with the android style game boxes. I've tried and owned a lot of the different ones that you see for sale. This has some nice features that put it above a lot of them. It has a built-in cooling fan, which is nice because these boxes can run hot. This also has the ability to use four controllers at once, which is nice for some of the older beat em ups and arcade games. This also has the s905x3 chip, which I believe is the most powerful of the s905 series. A lot of the other boxes just use the original s905. Game play is good for everything for the most part until you get into the newer late 90s, early 2000s consoles. These will need some tweaking to improve the performance, which can be done through retroarch. I strongly suggest that you really familiarize yourself with the operating system, which is a version of emuelec, and to learn the ins and outs of retroarch before changing any system settings because these boxes can be finicky. There are plenty of resources out there to guide you if you have any issues. The controllers are nice and work well but I always use my own wired controllers with these units because I think wired is better than wireless because if your controllers die from low batteries you can't properly shut the unit down because you can't access the proper menus to do so. Not shutting the unit down properly can corrupt the mirco sd card, and then the games won't work. I have kinhank consoles that are close to 3 years old that still play fine.

I got this because I really enjoy retro gaming and although I have several of the older gaming systems emulated on this system, I like having them all available in one location at the same time. The unit was easy to set up and get going out of the box. There are several YouTube videos that helped me to tweak the system and customized it more to my tastes but out of the box it works and looks great. The controllers it comes with are pretty basic but work and other controllers can be purchased at a later date if I want to upgrade. The device connected easily to a spare 27 inch computer monitor I had and in less than 20 minutes I was off playing many games I hadn't seen or played in about 20 years. It really brought a smile to my face to see and play these games and I am sure that anyone else loving retro gaming will love this unit.

This thing is jam packed full of games across a lot of different consoles. If you're looking for years of retro fun this will keep you busy. The overall visual design is nostalgic and clean. We all know what it looks like and it's a fun facsimile. The controllers are PS3 style, and while the quality is not as good, it's still pretty decent. I'm able to play fighting games with no issues and all the buttons are appropriately responsive. The operating system is well laid out and easy to navigate. On top of that it's visually appealing. You feel like you're playing a refined product. Gameplay is smooth, and while I didn't test every console, everything I played was smooth. I did come across a couple of quirks though. The hotkeys for certain consoles are different so you need to figure that out. Also, the microSD card is a no namer, which is never a good sign. They don't make it easy to replicate either. The card partitions are maxed out and there's multiple of different format. You'll need to be pretty technical to make a backup. Other than that, lots of fun

This console is a retro gaming powerhouse with a vast library of over 60,000 games across 60+ emulators in a stylish, compact package. It has a Nintendo NES design and its simple HDMI connectivity makes setup a breeze. The included wireless controllers are responsive and comfortable. While the system excels at running 8-bit and 16-bit games flawlessly, some more demanding titles on newer emulated consoles may require tweaking in the system settings, which are thankfully unlocked for customization and optimization. I think this flexibility is a significant advantage for serious retro gamers but it can be a little daunting for n00bs. The vast game selection will give you endless entertainment for the whole family and the console's portability makes it perfect for gaming on the go. I've never heard of Kinhank Overall I highly recommend it!
