Overall, these are a very good buy once you get past the assembly. We have a lanai in Florida that gets heat and humidity and a lot of dust, so we didn't want wood and we needed something easy to clean. We liked the fact that these can be a regular Adirondack chair or a rocker and both have the option to pull out the ottoman. We put one together first without the rocker and it took us over two hours and required a You Tube video, even though the instructions provided were pretty decent (my husband just doesn't like to read instructions and they answered a lot of the things he was frustrated with). Still, if you aren't used to putting together this sort of product, it can be pretty intimidating so the You Tube video helped a lot by putting it on slow playback speed. After he put the first one together, he made the second one the rocker. The assembly went much faster the second time since it made more sense to him. After seeing the rocker, I like it so much better because the seat is higher, so we will probably turn the other one into a rocker as well. You can still pull out the ottoman which works fine for me at 5'5", but is too short for my 5'10" husband. Not a big deal. These are VERY sturdy, very heavy, and have a key that plugs into the side before you sit but can be removed if you want to fold them up.Good purchase and cheaper than Lowe's. Once put together, it was solid as a rock (pun intended). The best part? It’s like a 2-in-1 dream chair. I can rock myself into blissful relaxation or kick back with the retractable ottoman and pretend I’m lounging at a five-star resort. Versatility, folks! I’ve had it for a year, and the color is holding up like a champ—no fading, no weird discoloration, just the same vibrant look as the day it arrived. If you’re on the fence, don’t be. We are enjoying our Adirondack Rocker and the leg rest feature. The pull out drink holders are nice also. The leg rest portion pulls out and back in but is not working as smoothly on the holding pins that allows it to fold up. Strength of the chair is good but not as sturdy as some polychairs we have used with less moving parts. Our 4 chairs look great on the patio and also mix well with other color and size chairs. We expect to get many years of use and they are heavy enough to not blow away.

These chairs are HEAVY! We wound up cutting boxes open ( we bought 2) and taking the parts out individually . The directions are deceptive, showing different views and directions for the same step. But once you get going it’s fine. The directions actually state 1 person, 2 is better and 30 minutes. No possible way 30 minutes construction time. I’m adept with flat packs and my husband is a good helper. The parts are so heavy that one person cannot hold it, place it and screw it. Even on the second chair it didn’t proceed much faster. The chairs are very comfortable-you can’t go wrong with an Adirondack style. BUT….for some reason we find them very hard to get out of! It’s curious. We like them, we like all the features and they look great with the fire pit and replacement umbrella canvas we also got on Amazon.

Pretty easy to put together and it has withstood one season so far. Love the slide out cup holder and wine glass holder. The only drawback is it isn't easily collapsible so that I could take it camping etc. but that isn't what it's designed for so no knock on that. Perfect for a porch or backyard.

After reading reviews, I decided to order the set of chairs. I’m so happy I did. They are heavy, well made and very comfortable. Many people said the rocking didn’t work well. We’ve had no issues. I did contact Amazon due to one arm having a hole and scratch on it. I’m hoping the company will replace the arm. I definitely recommend anyone to not hesitate buying one or the set.
