  • The Finest Laptop RAM on the Market for non-XMP boards/BIOS
Style: 3200MHz Capacity: 64GB (2x32GB)
Starting with specifics, I installed this RAM on a ASUS TUF F17 Series Laptop - FX706HE. Installation takes about 1-2 minutes, or however fast you can unscrew the bottom of your Laptop and replace two SODIMMs. I decided to go with the 64GB Kit. Some people may think that this is too much RAM, but it's nearly 2023, and I prescribe to the philosophy that my computer works for me, not the other way around. I should not be forced to close tabs or programs to free up RAM to play games. I should also not have to rely on a Page File in case my RAM gets capped. When it comes to Laptop SODIMM RAM, you're probably not going to find much faster than CL22, even at 8GB, unless it uses XMP. Unfortunately, a lot of Laptop BIOS's, including the one for my ASUS TUF Series, does not have this feature. Now, I don't know if it's specifically a mainboard or BIOS issue where I could have enabled the feature by completely flushing my BIOS - but that seemed like a really stupid and dangerous idea where I would end up bricking my laptop. When I initially realized this, I just let out a sigh, and had to accept that my laptop would not enable XMP, or higher voltage RAM. So, in my humble opinion, this is your best option for Laptops that do not have XMP. It's plug-and-play option (which basically means it's default setting) allows you to get XMP speeds, without the use of XMP. Now, we're not talking about going from CL22 to CL16 here - it's a modest reduction to CL20 - but when your choices are limited, you take what you can get. At the default CL20, it still maintains 3200MHz. The 64GB Kit is both Dual Channel and Dual Rank. I immediately noticed performance gains in more RAM heavy games, like Star Citizen. And, FYI, going from Single Rank to Dual Rank doesn't give you some magical 30% FPS increase with all games across the board, like some people claim. But, the I'm sure that the combined effect of a lower CL, higher capacity, and dual ranking all adds to the overall performance impact. I'll toss in some CPU-Z screenshots for those interested in the finer details. Overall, unless the hardware dies on me within a short amount of time, 5 Stars. It's nice to see a brand like Kingston providing a RAM solution that solves an issue that affects more users than I originally realize. ... show more

  • Great Plug and Play Value!
Style: 3200MHz Capacity: 32GB (2x16GB)
I'm one of those people who likes to have 50 different apps open at a time, plus a dozen tabs in Chrome at any given moment. My 2 year old Dell Inspiron w/i7-1165G7 and 16GB RAM was starting to feel sluggish. In 5 minutes I had them swapped out and my laptop booting up. There's a VERY noticable increase in the speed at which apps open, and running a dozen apps has no noticeable effect on speed. I'd originally order Corsair RAM. But like many peoples' reviews, mine were DOA. This is the same price, CL20, and no need to mess w/Bios. Would recommend them if you're looking for a reasonably priced performance upgrade. ... show more

  • No Stuttering, No latency
Style: 3200MHz Capacity: 32GB (2x16GB)
This is decent RAM for people whose motherboards and/or processors are going to limit them to below 4,000mHz anyway. This is the first setup (along with 256GB M.2 PCIe 4 NvMeSSD) I have ever had that could play some actually demanding video games. I was afraid for the price what I might get but so far I am pleasantly surprised. ... show more

  • Good thing they didn't say "FURRY" on them!!!!
Style: 3200MHz Capacity: 64GB (2x32GB)
I am sofa king glad these did not say "FURRY" on them! But rather, they say "FURY" on them. Because I would rather my "RAM" to be a "merry meek mad mutton" for not a lot of money, than a "hairy-'ole sheep cold-soul struttin' and doin' nuttin' but hoardin-hors d'oeuvres for munchkins to munch'on; later gater skater proclamatorily stating; so, don't be hatin'"! I put "three", at first, then changed it to "one" for easy to install b/c that was a trick question. You see, I have one of the baddest MSI super-thing lapstops for gaming (maybe last year's models, i four-get). Trick question b/c stupid question b/c it's all relative, minorly or majorly having to do with the lapstop, itself. On mine lapstop that had the fastest and bestest video card available for lapstop gaming; until they came out with a (k)newer kind; so, in other wrods - my lapstop has a 3080 w/16 GB GRAM and recently upgraded with "see: reviewed product for this item that is being reviewed; so now she's got 64 GB RAM under the hood. Witch, by the way -so don't even do gown that streat... but also, it was a pain in the arse to install the NEW UPGRADED and FURIOSO RAM from KINGSTON, JAMAICA... So yeah, my 'puter is really faster now that it was before but was still perty faster before but not as much as now. (Sew, I hope this makes scents or cents; I always fore-gotted.) ... show more

  • Fantastic!
Style: 3200MHz Capacity: 32GB (2x16GB)
I bought this as a present for my boyfriend and he loved it! Definitely got me some points lol. He told me his computer is running so much smoother and not having to struggle as bad. He used to have two sticks of 8 and now he’s got way more. He followed a pdf and installed them himself. I watched and was surprised at how simple it was to install. Definitely worth the upgrade and purchase. ... show more
