HP Omen 25L came with HyperX 8GB RGB ram, couldn't find HyperX anywhere and found this Kingston which is basically same thing. As you can see, all 3 work the same (HyperX in the middle), same speed, same voltage and same light output controlled using Omen Gaming Hub, not Kingston Fury app which is horrible and auto resets the ram modules to that lame bright rainbow anytime it feels like! ... show more

Upgraded from 16gb and a 1080ti to 32GB of this Kingston fury and a RTX 3070. Cpu is Ryzen 7 5800x and my rig was pretty fast before I even put in the 3070 and made the switch to 32GB of ram . Of course the 3070 boosted the fps in video games but my pc does feels snappier and everything just feels ultra low latency so id say switching from 16gb to 32GB is worth it if anyone was wondering . But I’d say this only matters on a good rig ... show more

Absolutely great product. Did exactly what it was supposed to do. Literally put it into my computer and loaded right up first time at 3200Mhz. Overclocked to 3457Mhz to not stress it and runs fine. Download Kingston Fury for the RGB. Good stuff at a great price.

I see a number of reviews stating this memory does not work in an Omen 40L. I wanted to be clear that it works great with my 40L. I suspect a number of people have tried to mix ram kits which is not advisable if you want optimal performance. Ensure you have set the appropriate XMP profile in the BIOS by pressing F10 during the initial POST. Also note I am running BIOS version F.31 which you can see in the CPU-Z screenshot. ... show more
