Bought just for the spout and handles, didn't actually realize how much it came with. Comes with all the plumbing to the handles that go behind the wall. The handles are heavy, good material. I had to go the the hardware store to get longer screws for the handles, others will probably have to also unless replacing the entire plumbing the product comes with. The spout seems a little flimsy, plastic pieces inside, but works well and doesnt make any weird sounds when water flowing through shower head like other old or cheap spouts. The shower head is very cheap, plastic pieces and one setting, would give 1 star. But everything else satisfied with, 4 stars. ... show more

So the shower set is good and we'll built. However if you have an old house, it is ALOT of work. When I say old I mean pre 1920. My house is 110 years old and I had to replace over 40 feet of piping just to connect this set because of the different connections my 110 year old house has.

Quality of the handles and spout are excellent and hardy. One of the valves was missing a crucial spring and seal, and after installing and using we have discovered the lack of water pressure. The knobs are only half turn valves which was not in the description. Plus, water does not come out until 1/3 turn so there is very little adjustments that can be made. Our water pressure was never great to begin but now its terrible to the point where i will take a hit and buy a new set with no ability to return this set. Sorry for a negative review. ... show more

Install wasn't too bad, but I had help from a former plumber, it took us about 3 hours total. Valves are very smooth, finish is nice, spout is also very nice. Shower head is awful. There is a leak in the threads right out of the box. Rather than send it back, I think I'm going to replace the head- the water pressure is on the weak side because the pattern is way too broad. It sprays my curtain and side of the shower, that pattern cannot be changed, only the middle can be adjusted. Overall, I'd say this is a 3.7 out of 5. The valves are very good, the spout does fine, but that shower head is a total pile of crap. ... show more

Quality is more than expected with some weight to them along with a nice finish. This satin nickel.is very slightly brushed, unlike other brushed finishes. While some may describe this as polished, it isn't quite that either. It is exactly in the middle. That being said, I find the curved shower rod and shower head replacement to match well enough even though they are from another manufacturer. If you make sure your other brushed nickels aren't too 'bright or white' bruched nickel, these will blend nicely (and I'm rather picky. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the satin nickel not being described as such even though it looks nice. The other reason is the handles and not large or chunky like they appear in the picture. These are smaller diameter than exl we cted, but certainly not odd. They are in keeping w an older 60s bath which we are renovating in similar classic manner. Overall, nice stuff! We purchased the kingston brass sink faucet, as well. ... show more
