First, it is manufactured by Samsung. Very pleased with that. The price was also fair. Dual ranks on 2 sticks of 16gb is fine also. However, I purchased this under the assumption that it would run at 3200MT/s under a JEDEC/standard default timing/latency profile. That is not the case, and unfortunately as of 4/24/2025 this Kingspec ram does not clarify that to get 3200 you will need to use an XMP profile. So, if you are using a standard DEL, Lenovo, HP or other common OEM PC, it is likely that your BIOS will not have the ability to use an XMP RAM profile, and this RAM will run at 2400MT/s. Now,.... My MOBO is a Gigabyte Z790 S wifi ddr4, and I did get it to run at 3200 with Gear 1 and no tricky maneuvering of the voltages, timings, etc. So, I will not knock this review under a 4 star, however, I cannot give it a 5 star, because nowhere does it mention that it will run at 2400MT/s if your system does not have the ability to use XMP. And I purchased it under the assumption that it was running a JEDEC 1.35v 3200MT/s profile. Now, I am not an expert and maybe all 3200 needs XMP, not sure. But I was concerned when I found that this new ram was going to run more slowly than my 2666MT/s pair, unless my motherboard had XMP capability. I am running it on a Z790 s with a i7 14700 with a 700watt psu on Win 11, so I imagine if you are running older chips and processors, you might not be able to get the 3200MT/s out of it as easily as I have. So just be aware. This RAM runs at 2400 without XMP, and not even 2666 without XMP. So, there you have it. see attachments from CPU-z. ... show more
