Sooo soft I had to check the label for ultra plush but this is the plush. Smells a touch chemical but seriously smells like the icing on cupcakes. I've had the bed for two weeks and the smell is still there. I was worried the mattress would be too soft for me but this mattress is made to support. I woke pleasantly surprised the first night. I can sleep on back or side. The mattress is gorgeous. I was a bit concerned that the middle of the box came with two large tears taped up where the middle of the mattress was. No marks on the mattress or visible damage. The plastic over the mattress was not torn. I did hear a spring pop at the very top of the mattress when I put my knee on it removing the plastic from the middle of the bed so that does worry me. I am not over 170 pounds so I feel it should not have popped. I haven't noticed anymore springs. Delivery was quick, the guys were polite. ... show more

This mattress was fine for the 1st year when no one was sleeping on it on a regular basis. Once I started sleeping on it on a regular basis the mattress started breaking down horribly. With me being the only one sleeping on it, and I sleep on one side, it has permanent sagging on both sides, because I turn my mattress. We had a few problems with shipping/delivery but I have to say that when you purchase a high ticket item, Amazon’s Customer Support was superior -I was lucky enough to get a representative in the USA who was kind and helpful! I was suprised by how helpful CS was. The mattress, we just love! It is soft and luxurious. My first nights sleep was incredible. They say you should wait 30 days to get used to a bed, well this bed was great from the first night! If you like your bed soft and where you sink into it - I highly recommend this mattress ♥️. Gosh darn I love Amazon. I went to two mattress stores to purchase a bed. In one mega national mattress chains, the only bed I liked was this Kingstown Plush. I went to a second mega national chain and attempted to purchase this same bed, but the sales guy literally didn't know what he was talking about. After doing research at the Kingstown web site, I knew more than that sales guy. First store was too much haggling, honestly, it was like dickering with used car sales. By chance I figured, what the heck, let me look on Amazon. The first store was retail 2,200. but they would be nice enough to "let it go" for 1,900. ... if ... I purchased a 900. base from them, which by the way I just purchased from Costco to 500. Yep, even better rated one. This mattress, with tax was 1,700. I think it was around 1,600. Second store was apples and oranges as I said, they didn't know what they were selling. That was 2,000. I don't like using business showrooms to test out and purchase from someone else. I was in business all of my adult life and I treat people like I want to be treated. But gosh, they shot themselves in the foot. I would have purchased from store one because the guy was nice, but when I asked about my doubts and would I need to return the mattress, he said they would exchange it, but only if I purchased another mattress from them. That killed it for me. The only mattress I would have considered purchasing from them was the Kingstown Plush. Very long story short! This bed arrived yesterday and is not as plush as I want, but I was warned about giving it 30 days to soften up. I purchased a feather bed which Amazon delivered, literally 3 hours later. (Amazon is simply incredible. I love the hassle free way of their business practices. I LOVE THIS BED. Honestly, I didn't want to get out of bed this morning. I usually wake up two to three times a night, just because, but last nigh, only once and fell right back asleep. I can see why this mattress is not out of stock. I couldn't be happier. ... show more

This bed (Kingsdown Euro Pillow Top Ultra-Plush Hybrid Mattress Twin XL, Cool Gel Memory Foam Layer-Passions) is not cushy at all. My body does not sink down into a pillow top at all. It isn't even cool. I am very disappointed and I am returning it.

The bed arrived in a huge box in the time stated by the delivery service. The delivery man took it out of the HUGE cardboard box and took the box away leaving just the new mattress inside the plastic bag. It's perfect and amazing just like my old Kings Down Mattress and I wish I got this in the first place to replace my last Kings Down Mattress. I tried to save some money and it wasn't worth it.
