I really wanted to love this frame. I’ve always slept with a mattress & box spring on the floor so this was a seriously needed upgrade for me. However, I’ve had several issues... First and most importantly, measure the dimensions of your mattress. I discovered that my new memory foam mattress that I bought along with this frame was slightly smaller than the frame. I’ve got a good inch or two on each side of extra space which makes it very easy to stub your toe on the legs :( Ouch! Second, the quality of the frame itself seems decent but the toolkit was a joke. Several of the nuts and bolts were damaged or just not shaped correctly. I have one nut that I wasn’t able to get screwed all the way in on the corner of the frame. My boyfriend & tried at it for quite sometime and even ended up stripping the weirdly small and painful as heck to use “wrench” that was included with the toolkit. We eventually just gave up and hoped for the best. I did appreciate that there was extra bolts included in the kit but there were no extra nuts, which was what we needed the most. Overall the bed still seems pretty sturdy despite the crappy toolkit. Third... Please don’t buy this if you have a memory foam mattress that is fairly thin & no box spring/bunkie boards. Ours is 8” and we can feel every slat when laying on this thing. I lined the top of the frame (as a temporary fix) with cardboard boxes just so we could actually sleep on a flattish surface. The entire point of me buying this was so I wouldn’t also have to buy a box spring as well. In the end, this thing has cost me more money than it’s worth. Lastly, and this could be due to the assembly issues... this thing is NOT quiet. It makes noise every time we move. Which again, was one of the reasons I chose this frame over others when shopping around. Despite these issues, we’re just gonna settle for this frame for now. I doubt it’s returnable anyways since the tools are all damaged and we’ve stripped several of the nuts with pliers. I’d recommend this frame only if it’s for a guest bedroom or you’re just short on cash. It does the job for the most part (with a little tweaking & squeaking) and seems sturdy enough to hold just about any weight of mattress or person.

I got this because the bottom pieces of my bed frame broke and I didn’t wanna throw away the entire thing. It’s sturdy enough but won’t last long it’s basically the materials made for a regular metal bed frame just a little bit more sturdy but for right now it does the job. I got the 14 Inches thinking I got the 16 but it’s still pretty decent height ( I’m 6’0) I plan on moving again in 2 years and I doubt this will last but if you need something sturdy enough (with no kids) to get your bed off the floor then I recommend getting it Update! The headboard doesn’t fit the frame the hole don’t align

"Silent" or "Creaking Free" only explains this mattress frame for roughly 30-40 days. After that, with normal getting on/off and baby dancing, the frame sounds like it's crying for help. The frame is still sturdy and there's nothing structurally wrong with it, but if you want a silent bed frame, I wouldn't recommend this frame.

I didn't have high hopes for this product. It's inexpensive, very simple design and while it looks wonderful in the ad space on amazon, I've been bitten before by a catchy image and a plethora of reviews that seem to be mixed. Straight up, I was pleasantly surprised by what I got. First, the instructions need a lot of help to make right. I would suggest the manufacturer or distributor hire someone to just go full picture based, because it's really that simple. My frame came with multiple copies of the same page 3 & 4 stapled together to make 6 total pages. It took me a whole 2 minutes to figure out what went where and how to assemble it. Lay everything out. On each of the corners, use two short hex bolts (there are 9 total in the kit, you only need 8) to fit the legs to the long folding rails. Then for each corner, use two long hex bolts (again, 9 total and you only need 8) and two of the nuts supplied to fit the cross rails into the legs on each end. The tools needed are supplied. Then take the smaller diameter long hex bolts and accompanying nut and use it to secure the center rail in place. With the frame completed, now just add the metal slats and snap them in place. I purchased the bed for a spare place in case company comes over or I just want a quick nap in the office. It's good for that. Plenty of room for storage underneath or to use as a good base for a captains bed if you're handy and like woodworking. It's relatively light weight, breaks down for moving or storage within a couple of minutes and is a no-frills solution that will get that mattress off the floor.

Purchased this frame and expected easy. Assembly was fairly easy. Can't find a headboard that fits to this frame. We have tried since January 2021. Frame is very squeaky!! It's not quiet at all. We have decided we need to replace it. Really feel we wasted our $$ on this one.

The bed-frame was very easy to assemble and holds our Tempurpedic mattress with ease. However, we had put in an order for the California King size frame to fit our California King size mattress and the bed frame is much longer than the bed. The bed frame sticks out almost 4 inches beyond the end of our mattress; coincidentally the width measurement is spot-on. We elected to keep the frame after putting it together because we had no bed frame for our mattress but there have been a few nights of “shin-bumps” due to the overhang of the frame beyond the mattress. The measurements provided are simply not accurate as they do not fit our mattress.

I was going through hell fixing my wooden frame with new screws and a drill every 2 months. Then I discovered this and I completely forgot what that stress was like. I have one of those high-end foam mattresses, the name escapes me at the moment but doesn't transfer motion regardless. I do not regret this purchase, the time it took to assemble was well worth it, even though it wasn't that long.
