The top feels soft and kind of plush when I first lie down, then the support kicks in so I’m not sinking. What I notice most is how my back feels when I get up. Although I don't have any other experience of using the new mattress to make a comparison, I can say that this mattress is really great. The top of the mattress is soft and comfortable, while the bottom has good support. I mainly sleep on my side and back, and rarely on my stomach. The reason why I rarely slept on my back before was largely because my previous mattress was not comfortable enough. Now, I find that sleeping on this mattress on my back is also very comfortable. It's super comfortable, but still firm enough. I don't feel like I'm sinking into the mattress. Moreover, neither my wife nor I felt that the other was moving or turning throughout the night. Besides, it is very cool, which is another huge advantage. There is no smell at all. In short, we felt very good sleeping on it.

This is a very comfortable hybrid mattress. The top layer is a soft, cooling gel memory foam that feels cool to the touch and contours gently. When I opened the package, there was no strange smell and it expanded well, reaching its normal size quickly. The medium softness of the texture achieved a perfect balance between softness and support. The memory foam layer can perfectly fit my body contour, while the bagged springs provide excellent support and rebound effect.It's not to plush, we don't "sink" in to it and not to firm, which is the mattress we just had, its just perfect! Moreover, I found that the edge support was surprisingly good, so I wouldn't feel any sinking when sitting or sleeping at the edge. My husband often turns over at night, but I hardly feel any movement, which is also a great advantage. In summary, based on our current usage, it is indeed a wonderful mattress.

I set up this twin size mattress in my guest room and it made a huge difference in comfort. Lying down felt supportive but still soft enough to relax completely. I noticed that I could shift positions easily without feeling like I was sinking or rolling to one side. I share a bed, and I notice movement more than I want to. This mattress does a nice job keeping the motion on one side from traveling to the other. When there is shifting around, it feels muted instead of bouncing across the whole surface. The feel is medium-firm to me: soft enough on top that it does not feel like a board, but supportive enough that I do not feel swallowed. My lower back feels more settled when I lie flat, and when I roll to my side, the top gives a little so it stays comfortable. I also like the edge support.
