I let the mattress sit for about 8 hours and was able to sleep on it same night! The mattress has a soft pillow top with the appropriate firmness! I have fibromyalgia so the firmness is just right for my back pain!!! There was no factory smell. Also I could move around without waking my partner-no noise!! I LOVE my King mattress!!! Ordered the king size- it’s very big/heavy, recommend having 2 people to unbox but I was still able to get it done alone. Inflated pretty quickly and slid right into the new bed frame. Seems soft and comfortable and makes no sounds as other mattresses may do at times.
