When I got this mattress, it was rolled up tight, and heavy, and I was wondering how is that a mattress. They give you what appears as a letter opener to help slice the plastic open so that you don't cut your mattress, that was a great tool but was not easy to use. If you use a box cutter you might ruin the mattress, if you can't handle the supplied cutter, try using scissors with blunt ends. Be careful not to cut the mattress. Once the seal is broken it begins to expand slowly, make sure you have enough room for it to open up, it is not overly dramatic, like slow-motion. It does not take long, the hard part is fully removing the plastic. Once you unwrap it, you can put it on your bedframe that has support, or a box spring. This needs support, it will not work on a non-supportive bed frame. There is only one issue, if you sit on the edge or roll close to it- you might slide off, especially if you are very heavy. The other issue which is not much of a problem for me, is it does have a new mattress smell, which will dissipate shortly you can let it air out if you need to with windows open, or go ahead and cover it up with a mattress protector and you won't smell anything. If you are sensitive to smells, leave it outside to air out for the whole day before bringing it in. One adult could handle this but it is quite heavy, two adults are better. The suggested uses are bunk beds, box springs, flat bases, adjustable beds, day beds, and on the floor. There are handles on the bed that feel sturdy to help move it around, and there is a big difference between the bottom and top, clearly labeled so you don't make your bed and find out it's upside down. They suggest letting it air out and sit for 1-3 days, you can do more or less time if you need it today. Recycle/rehome your old mattress if it's in good shape, some people need one to get by until they can afford a new one. Take it to the dump if it's heavily stained, worn, or broken. I ordered medium firm, it is very comfortable, and I won't need my foam mattress topper anymore. It is comfortable and does not squeak, I am impressed by a jelly roll that popped into this full-size mattress. You will need deep pocket fitted sheets and mattress covers to fit full coverage. The mattress is as tall as my old one with the foam topper combined, thankfully I have deep pocket fitted sheets to fit. If you have trouble keeping yours on, you could order adjustable clip-on straps that hold it in place sold separately, for a temporary fix until you are ready to order deep pocket sheets.

I was skeptical when I got this bed. it was rolled up and delivered in a box. I took the plunge and threw my old mattress away and unwrapped this one. The bed comes with a ripping tool so you can open your bed more easily without ripping the actual mattress. I'm not going to lie, it was still extremely hard to open, it's quite heavy and it had a bit of a plastic smelling funk to it after it was opened. After I got it positioned on my box spring...magic! The bed began to expand and rise to a full 10 inches high! I came back after an hour or so and the smell was gone. All that was left was a showroom looking mattress. It looked and felt like something you would have gotten from a high end bedding store. The stitching and pillow looking pockets on top looked and felt like I'd spent a fortune. That night I was a little worried as the mattress seemed a bit softer and cozier than my old mattress. I snuggled into bed and closed my eyes, then ...boom! Next thing I know it's morning! I had slept through the night that night, and the next night and the next. I haven't had this good of quality of sleep in years! I used to wake on average 2-4 times a night due to back pain and discomfort from a plethora of surgeries replacing disks and inserting rods and screws in my back. I cannot tell you in words how happy this mattress has made me and how much better I feel every morning since getting it. This mattress needs more stars than I am allowed to give!

Got this for our 6'2" son who had outgrown his college XL twin and was ready for a real bed. This was a much better deal than going to a big box store. He currently has it resting on the floor but since it doesn't need a box spring that is fine. He sleeps comfortably and enjoys his new bed.

For me personally it’s kinda to firm however I think once fully broke in it will be just fine it’s a great mattress nice material not anything super scratchy and it’s not outrageously heavy which for me personally is great i always Love getting a new mattress because it’s always so fresh and clean and looks amazing. It did not take very long for it to go to its full capacity after opening overall a great bed for a great price.

The mattress arrived very quickly and I was thrilled the moment I got my hands on it, opened it up as requested and let it sit for 48 hours, it didn't wrinkle at all, it was very bouncy and was both supportive and very comfortable to lie on. Excellent hybrid mattress with a resilient inner layer that makes for a very pleasant sleep surface. Now that I've used it for a few days, I can only give it another evaluation to get a better idea of how happy I am with my purchase. Sleeping on it prevents the youngster from hunching over. utilized with intention for a while before making a comment. Kids have been jumping on the bed, the breathability of the mattress is still fine, and I haven't had any quality issues when sleeping. purchased on-site and at a reasonable rate.
