    • Don't get the 18/16 inch version unless you need storage space.
A really nice design at a fair price. Instructions clear and have tips for assembly. My only complaint is that they should tell you to assemble one side of the headboard at a time. If you start with the top-and-sides assembled, you have to keep loosening the cross-member for enough room to install the next one. You'll see. P.S. Very sturdy when complete. Also, a rubber mallet comes in handy for final step. P.S. I've learned I ordered the regular twin frame when my mattress is twin XL. Good news is, doesn't really matter, it fits fine. P.S.2. Found an annoying fault with this bedframe. the crossbars are too slippery. There is no friction between them and the mattress which allows the mattress to easily slide around. I went to Home Depot to look for some foam rubber pipe insulation, but they didn't have any small enough. Would have been the perfect solution. Stay tuned. ... show more

Took a while to assemble but final product is very sturdy. We only use a mattress so be sure the height is correct with the height of your mattress. After 6 months of use: Easy to assemble with a partner, sturdy, good quality, plenty of space underneath for storage, and DOES NOT SQUEAK!! Unless I flop/ jump hard on the bed. Very convenient set up because I can just tighten the screws in a couple of years if it starts creaking.

First of all - this comes in a fairly small box - about 3.5 feet long 8 inches wide and 60 lbs. so you may need help getting it to the assembly area. All the parts are clearly marked and instructions are good... but like all of these style assemble-yourself frames you have to lay out all parts first and FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS. Compared to other bedframes from large chains - this one was easy to assemble. Bear in mind that you assemble the headboard and then have to reverse it to connect to the lower portion. Many pieces, but only took about an hour. I'm impressed by the quality of the metal and especially the ease of putting in the many 'slats'. One thing to note - as you can see in the photo - the design of the headboard is hidden behind pillows - so if you like to see the design all the time, consider a higher headboard version. Overall - very pleased with the frame and would purchase again and recommend to others. ... show more
