The current listing is not the same product I purchased. I have a high platform queen bed frame base (not a headboard/footboard). It was fairly easy to put together. It feels very sturdy and nothing sounds squeaky or loose. We are using this with a memory foam style mattress and no box spring. Works great for this and at a good height. ... show more

    • Extremely sturdy!
First of all, I'm not seeing the bedframe I ordered in this listing anymore, so maybe it's not available anymore. But that aside, I got their heavy duty bedframe with no headboard and it is perfect! Putting it together took my husband 20 minutes with toddler interference. It probably would have only taken 10 minutes if he didn't have a 2 year old "helping" him and taking his tools away haha! The frame itself is definitely heavy duty metal, it's thick, it's sturdy and works perfectly to not only hold the bed in place, but supports both of us sleeping in it with 0 issues. It's completely silent, no squeak or shifting when we climb into bed. For 200 bucks, it's the best thing we've tried so far, as far as no box spring required frames go. It is a little taller than I'd like, though as I'm really short but it is still manageable to get into bed with a little hop! ... show more

Pretty easy to put together. The instructions were clear and the hardware is good quality. The metal is thick enough, and the finish from the black paint all looked great. Once put together and after a few months of my kids running around, jumping onto it and such its still rock solid with no creaks or loosening. The only real downside is that they have these adhesive pieces on the rails to help the mattress not slide. After replacing the sheets a few times these do not really do much but hold on to dirt. These probably should have been silicone, but after peeling them off things are fine still. The mattress slides a bit easier, but its not just going to fall off while you are sleeping. ... show more

Coming from someone in their early 30s, I went from waking up every morning feeling like I had the painful joints of someone decades my senior to actually getting a good night's sleep and waking up feeling rested and able to get right out of bed to get my kids ready for school after getting this frame, getting it put together and ditching our old box spring. Assembly was only mildly time consuming with both my husband and I working on it together and the instructions were very straightforward - they even included two allen keys and wrenches in the hardware kit so we weren't having to pass one set back and forth. The frame is very sturdy and really opens up the floor underneath the bed for extra storage space (a huge plus in our small house where any and all storage space is at a very high premium). ... show more

I acquired this bed frame specifically to allow for improved maneurability in a small room. This frame is durable and sturdy, but light enough to enable extremely easy movement for cleaning etc. Additionally, since the frame is 18 inches above the floor, access under the bed for cleaning is simple in any case, and too, the height under the bed permits noteworthy space for storage if you so choose. Moreover, constructing the frame could not be more simplistic, since the instructions are superior, with clear illustrations, and all the parts are very well documented for a quick build.
