Bought this bed for my office/guest room and it's not bad at all! Looks really good on the space and does not take up much space. Very easy to assemble, took maybe an hour. One of the slats is bent, but other than that, it's pretty solid. I ordered a queen box spring and mattress, but because of the height, may only need the mattress. I bought two of these a week ago for my sons. They were very easy to put together and so far they and I are all very happy with them. They do slide a bit on their laminate floor. That’s both a pro and a con I guess. Helpful to be able to easily move when a toy or book falls behind it (happens often around here), but if you want something that won’t move, this probably isn’t it (or maybe need a gripper of some sort). I have not noticed them squeaking or making any noise when the kids climb on them, etc., or even hearing them slide on the floor. I wanted to store the boys toy containers underneath. So that’s the main reason I was looking for this style. One of their boxes is 13” inches tall, which I was afraid wouldn’t fit. It will not slide out the side of the bed, but easily does from the foot of the bed which has a bit of a higher clearance. I looked at lots of beds trying to find one similar that would accommodate the 13” box and all were listed at 12-12.6” so just adding that info in case someone is in a similar situation. ... show more

Wasn't happy as I unpacked the bed in New apartment and there was no hardware or instructions. I had to go buy the bolts to assemble bed cost me $40.00 as I needed the bed asap had no time to process a refund and wait for another bed. But I will say it's a beautiful bed.
