It’s not 3 inches. More like 2 and some change. So far I’m not a fan. Have to air it out for 48-72 hours. Not sure it’s gonna work out. Update: have it on my bed. It’s actually nice. Still wish I for the 4 inch topper. But this one is actually comfortable. The only thing is there’s 2 bump parts (you can see them in the photo) that didn’t go down and are a little annoying. But overall I’m satisfied with my purchase. My back will be too haha ... show more

Very comfy especially for the price. Definitely let it sit flat for 24 hours before using. Since it comes in a small box it has a crease right down the middle that’s not comfy on the first night but after that it’s fine!

We purchased this topper to use as a camping mattress in our truck bed. We thought the dense 2 inch plus softer memory 1 inch would work well, and it does for the most part. My one complaint is that it's a scant 3 inch - more like 2-3/4. If I knew that I would have ordered the 4 inch.
