Took a chance buying a bed in a box. I spent a lot of time looking here and other places, reading reviews. The reality is that store brand mattresses just cost a fortune for anything remotely quality or comfortable, especialy king size. The mattress is heavy! Took two of us to get it in the house and unrolled. I let us expand for several days before sleeping on it. The corners took a little longer but we were using this bed within a couple of days. We have had it now for a couple of months and I feel like it's even more comfortable as it's broken in. It is more firm than I expected however we had prior been sleeping on a very worn well-known brand mattress that honestly was causing us so much back pain, hip pain and discomfort, I am relieved we gave this a try. We should have been sleeping on a more firm bed I have realized. My hips are no longer hurting. I have been waking up feeling rested for the first time in a long time! I love the memory foam plus individually wrapped coils. With two of us (and often two dogs) in the bed, the mattress is holding up well. We are both over 200# and have two large dogs. We might try adding a 1-2" foam topper but honestly the mattress is really comfy as is. The edges are not as firm as store bought mattresses and you will sink down a bit if sitting on the edge of the bed but it's not been a problem. We don't feel as if we will roll off. There is also really NO problematic movement in the bed if one person rolls over or shifts, it does not disturb the other person! I don't know how well this bed will hold up over time but it has a 10 year warranty. It seems very well made, it is comfortable and I imagine we will get at least a few years out of it. We bought this mattress 2 weeks ago and it is wonderful! It is firm yet comfortable and not too firm. We were looking for a bed that was not these new fangled crappy beds made of just foam and it is made very well. Thank you so much we bought one for our daughter as well she loves hers too.

nice bed for a kid. It's really very soft for an adult as when I sit on it or put my knee on it, I can feel like I'm almost sinking to the bottom of the springs. But when you lay down on it, it's really comfortable and it conforms to your body weight. Too soft for me (and I like plush beds) but for great for a lighter weight individual. My son loves it and that's what matters the most. It inflated very quickly and didn't even need to wait 72 hours since it was fully decompressed within a couple of hours and my 5 year old only weight like 40lbs so I didn't it would affect it much anyways. So far so good, hopefully it holds up as I'm planning on this being my son's bed until he's at least in high school. ... show more

The bed is great and didn’t have any smells after opening. It’s soft and lightly firm, and overall very comfortable. I read a review that noted to be careful when opening because it sort of springs into place and that’s 100% true. When cutting the plastic off just be careful because it does pop open.     • Edges are too soft.

Never thought I would buy a mattress in a box. Decided to try it. It was delivered on time and left outside our door. My husband needed help getting it in. He was due for back surgery a few days later. We let the bed fluff up and slept on it the third night. It's a lot better than our old sleep number bed. Actually a little softer than I expected. Would like it a tad firmer. We don't appreciate the edges. They really go way down if you sit on the edge. We need to be aware how we get into bed so not to fall on the floor. Will give it another two weeks to see if we will keep it or return it. The price was good. My husband who had back surgery Friday slipped off the bed. Now he cannot walk without help of walker. Edit: two weeks have gone by: I would not buy again. Feel other person's movement too much and not easy to get in and out of or turn in bed. Edit: 22 days on this mattress, and still not liking it. Very hard to turn over in bed. Because edges are not firm can't sleep near the edge. Wish I'd read the negative reviews before ordering it. Will be too much of a hassle to send back. Disappointed that AMAZON would even sell this. EDIT: 42 days now and this mattress gets worse. So very hard to turn in bed. If sleeping on my left side the right of the mattress got up. N my back there is a huge depression around the bottom and hips of my body. How difficult is it to return this? Edit. It is June 9 and the mattress gets worse. Wish we would have sent it back. Ok so I was leery about ordering a coil spring mattress that was going to be shipped to me flattened out in a box. When the package arrived I immediately opened the box and followed the opening structures to the team. Was I ever surprised within 3 hours it looked almost completely filled however I waited the full two days to give it it's time. Omg it was amazing to lay on. I have had it a week now and it is so comfortable, it is amazing the firmness is just perfect. I am so pleased I ordered my mother one as well. The only downside is it dose not have straps on the side to help move in it. But I didn't think it was that big of a deal not to give it a perfect rating ... show more
