I got a 14" mattress because some of the reviews said that their mattresses did not expand to the full thickness, but mine got to the full 14" within a couple of days after unboxing. I would have been happy with just a 12" if I had known, however I don't regret my purchase. It's a great quality mattress with just the right firmness to be comfortable. I don't get back or body aches upon waking up and it supports me well even when I lay or sit on the very edge. I also love that I don't notice so much now when my husband turns or shifts position while sleeping unlike when we had a spring mattress where I felt every movement. We have been using it for a month now and I don’t feel hot sleeping on it, just very comfortable. There was a very faint smell when we removed the plastic cover upon unboxing which I think can be expected of a product that has been compressed in plastic for a while, however the smell disappeared after a few hours. We unboxed in the morning and slept on it that night. I debated between buying this or the Zinus Greentea mattress but I'm glad I chose this because the price is cheaper and the quality is comparable or even better, depending on your firmness preference. I think this mattress is a tad bit more firm whereas the Zinus tends to sag more when you sit on the edge. I know because my daughter just bought the Zinus Greentea mattress before their price went up a couple of months ago. The only con is that now I have to find deeper mattress covers but I guess that is a great excuse to get me some new covers because it has been a while since I bought some.

This mattress was a replacement for a guest room bed and it is very well made and priced right. One caution is when opening the small vacuum packed memory foam container make sure you have enough space for the mattress to fit into.

We had purchased this mattress in a 10” model for our RV to replace the “2” foam camper pad” that has been the best choice for a great nights rest when camping. Since this has been a great choice we were thinking about our home mattress. I purchased the 12” model of this mattress to replace a three year old, $2,500 Beauty Rest Black mattress that failed around the 2 1/2 year mark. Warranty on mattresses means squat! I digress. We replaced said mattress with this one and it’s been the best use of money hands down! I’m a 240 pound person with the heaviest of my weight around the torso, I have an amazing amount of support with no sagging at this point, but then, the mattress is new and durability will be better known after the break-in period. But so far, so good. We fall asleep faster, less tossing and turning to do discomfort, back no longer aches upon waking. If you are looking for a comfortable feel with a firm support mattress we would HIGHLY recommend this one for you. As for inflation time, we took it from the packaging unrolled it make note the tag it attached to the TOP, FOOT end of the mattress. *the gel pad is positioned on the top of the mattress. The mattress inflated fully about the 24 hour mark, we did not experience any off odors, mattress was expertly packaged, and was delivered without damage and in a timely manner by UPS

Amazing value for the price. It’s on the firmer end of memory foam, but it’s tolerable enough for me. I’d rather it be too firm than not enough tbh. Sleep quality could be better, especially since I am prone to muscle aches, but for the price I am not mad at this at all.

This item was purchased for an adult family member who says it is the most comfortable mattress he has ever slept on. It is firm, yet the top layer is plush, so he sinks in just enough but not too much. He weighs about 160lbs. The fully encased zippered mattress protector cover that you can remove for washing is also a nice touch. Definitely worth what I paid for it. l feel really bad for the people whose mattress didn't fully decompress, because ours expanded to the full 10 inches thick literally within the first hour after opening. Sometimes you just get a lemon and I wanted to share our positive experience because it clearly is not happening to everyone. The downside to taking the chance that you will receive one of the good ones is that it would be nearly impossible to return, because there is no way you could compress it by hand and put it back in the box. I'll let you in on a little secret though. In situations like that, if you are polite but persistent Amazon will give you a partial refund.
