With all of the mixed reviews, I had a 50/50 chance. I thought through a few hacks which I think may have made the difference. I opened, removed outer plastic.The bed immediately started to expand. It had the outside zipped protective cover. I took that completely off. There is a lighter gauze type of material around the mattress. Almost like a sleeve and on both ends roughly sewn. I didn’t remove, I did loosen it up from the mattress itself on all sides. It is lightly tacked to the foam. Separated without a problem. I then kept straightening it up giving the mattress the freedom to just do its thing. Within 24 hours it had completely inflated and it took another little bit for the corners to come up. I think the trick is letting the foam have enough space without any restrictions to fully expand. I will put the outer cover back on. I bought the queen 10”. So far it sleeps well. I don’t know if what I did made a difference or I just got a great mattress. It would be interesting to see if what I did made a difference. It has a 5 star from me. I’m thinking that inner gauze type lining is to prevent damage to the actual mattress when they are deflating and rolling and probably can be removed. This is a totally independent honest review!

This mattress is hard and will be uncomfortable for people who have back pain like myself. The memory foam is soft but you don’t sink in the bed while you’re in it. Perfect mattress if you like it firm. This comes in a box and will expand on its own. It only took 4 hours! There was no smell and came very clean and white. The 8” definitely needs a box spring!

Purchased a full size for our child. It is extremely comfortable. We purchased the 10” and it’s just the right thickness. It fully popped up in an hour with no issues. The quality is great for the low price. It arrived in two days and had no damage. Came with a special cutting tool to ensure no damage is place on the mattress when opening. I would highly recommend.
