Awesome Carport! as long as you follow instructions and you tie it down right, this carport has survived 65mph+ winds. you cant be lazy and think a tarped tent is going to stay put with high winds. so anyone that has had issues you INSTALLED IT WRONG!! This carport is very close/just the same as shelter logic quality... highly recommended !!

3, 3 hour days, 22 degrees and one 74 year old man and she it up just before an ice and snow storm. I sure would like to rewrite or add to the directions. Some areas were less than clear and one or two missing. Trial and error led to what looks to be a successful assembly. Now we will see how she holds up thru the winter. Wind. Wow wind gusts to 60. Many clamps have come off. The base bars have slid up allowing air gusts under. Door zippers keep opening. Wished I had ways to tie the doclosed, groom to tie the door flaps down.

Update: I bought 30inch augers and anchored this down on the 4 corners. This kept it from flying away on me but the whole frame warped and bent. I am very disappointed in my purchase. The two I purchased didn't even last a whole year. If you live somewhere that gets even the occasional high winds this will not work. Update:the whole thing just flew away in high winds and damaged my truck. Buy your own anchors. Finally started putting this together. Overall it’s not a terrible build and it seems be fairly sturdy. I purchased the one with the high peak in order to reduce snow load. This build is definitely a 2-3 person minimum build job. These poles will bend if you torque them too much. Take your time and tighten everything down in sections when connecting the poles and joints. When putting the tarp on attach the front and back panels to the top most part or otherwise you will need a tall ladder to get everything attached. The instructions are not very good but can be managed. The big tarp portion goes on side to side and there are pockets for the side bars to slide into, this keeps it tight side to side. There are straps hanging out of the front and back edges. (Do not pull these out!) these tighten side to side using the provided ratchet hooks. Once you have these hooks in everything should tighten up nicely. Go slow and have help. It’s a little tight front to back for a 2015 GMC Sierra 2500 with a standard bed and 4 doors. See my pictures. I can still just barely get the doors zipped shut though but they do touch the front and back of the truck when closed. A note for the manufacturers put a line in the middle of the main tarp to mark the middle of where it should sit on the peak of the frame this would help line everything up during assembly. Add a tying strap to the peak spot would be even better.

I hit my carport with my tractor bucket and bent a few poles. I contacted customer service by email and they sent new parts out at a very reasonable price which maybe covered the price to ship them. Great customer service.

We had issues almost 2 years after purchasing this produce due to not securing the bases correctly. Some of the roof bars bent during a high wind storm since the entrance was open. I reached out to the company and they immediately began helping me replace the proper parts. They originally offered to replace for free, but since this was my issue due to improper installation and not a product malfunction I could not accept. They sent the exact parts needed. Also shame on me for not writing this sooner since we originally installed. It has held up against the elements and did it's purpose. Everything is in excellent shape still.

We were happy to build this heavy duty carport for our new tractor only to find it in a pile on the ground on delivery day. The carport folded due to some wind in the area. Metal twisted and sheered like it was paper. I would not recommend this product. Definitely not heavy duty. Update: I am still not happy with the product itself, however, the seller was very helpful in replacing damaged parts. Increased from 1 to 3 stars.
