I assembled the whole thing (by myself) in just over two hours. It was pretty straightforward, but the instructions could use a little tweaking. It is certainly beneficial to read the instructions before beginning, as stated. So far I’m pleased with the construction and the appearance of the unit. As long as it holds up to the weather like the manufacturer claims, I cant see anything major to complain about. This Carport is exactly what you would want in a car port. This is my second time buying. The first is still standing strong and it has been subjected to all kinds of severe weather in all seasons here in Wisconsin. It is next to my house so it is sheltered to a degree but in comparison I had a different car port on the other side of my house from another manufacturer that lasted 3 months until its first severe weather experience. In contrast, my first kingbird is now 4 years old and good as new. My only complaint is that this second purchase had a poorly angled weld for the cross support bar at the top of one the A Frames. It was impossible to install without modification as the angle for one of the elbow connectors was off by about 30⁰ in angle compared to the other elbow it is meant to share the support bar with. Regardless, this carport is a lot of value for your money. The price is definitely right, and I'm planning on buying a couple more. I'll just be checking things a bit more thoroughly before beginning set up next time. ... show more
