I’m not pleased with the design of this bed frame. The long sides of the frame come in 2 pieces, which creates a weakness and a point that flexes when moving the frame. The main thing that bothers me is how the legs under the center of the frame are sort of free-standing, they aren’t attached in sturdily to the reat of the frame, and the result is that over time they lean, and thus are no longer fully supporting the mattress. Also, the head board arrived with a damaged spot. Its not worth the hassle of sending it back, etc etc. It was hard to build, but we did it so we’re just gunna use it for the year that we live here and then figure something else out. I do not recommend this product, although I won’t give it 1 star because it does work.

The media could not be loaded. This is a beautiful bed frame. It was delivered with care and boxed well so it’s protected during delivery. Think the bed is a solid piece. It doesn’t wobble, which is such a big if factor when ordering online. I truly love it and am so happy with my purchase.

In general this bed is attractive in a simple way, the wood parts are well made and finished, and the final bed is well suited for a Twin XL size mattress. However, there were a few issues that were very annoying when pulting the bed together: 1. There were no instructions for assembly included in the shipping package, and no link on Amazon for the ability to download the instructions. 2. The bolt count was not correct. The place where the sides connect to the headboard require a special longer bolt. There is a need for 4 such bolts, bolts that are about a 1//2 inch longer to reach all the way through the headboard supports. My kit only had 2 such bolts, when 4 were needed. I had to re-bore the holes for these bolts to allow the bolts to be deeper in the headboard in order to get them to reach the threaded inserts. At any rate, the pieces were packed very well, well protected, and all parts fit very well once the sequence of events was learned by trial and error. The bed will be used, and will work good in our environment. Update: I purchased 2 of these beds, but did my earlier review on only the first one. When I opened the second box for the 2nd bed I found that both of th4e earlier complaints were not necessary in this 2nd box of parts. There was an instruction sheet, and all 4 of the longer bolts were present. This made the second bed much faster to put together. So, overall a good product for the money, but it seems a crap shoot as to whether you get a full complete boxc of parts or one that has problems. Because of that I am keeping the quality rating right where it is. Is the Mfg listening?

Less than 3 months in, frame supports and center legs are broken. Upon setting this frame up I felt that it was poorly designed, it wasn’t as easy to set up as the other $100 cheaper frame I bought at the same time, which is still fine and not broken.
