Happy with this purchase. Performs well with kiln dried spruce or pine. Tip: buck your kindling blanks smaller than 16”.. (14 1/2” works mint) Good value

I tried this on numerous different pieces of wood - and it just wont split much more than the smallest pieces of wood. Would not suggest to anyone.

Be careful using this device it is really flimsy. Will split kiln dried 3/4” pine nicely but nothing else. It doesn’t do chunks of firewood as shown. I have a mill and it works ok one pine except if there’s a knot. Going to keep it until it breaks.
