The blade should be much sharper. The screws that came with it are way too short and stripped out before i could get them bolted into the wood. Spend a couple dollars for 6 inch bolts. Otherwise, very happy with it.

my daughter bought this for me 3 years ago. Its a delight to work with..Im 78 years old and look forwarde to the work out I get with this product. Best part is you can place a chair in front of it and split most of you free time outside splitting wood while sitting down Usually reward myself with a bottle o Miller Lite Beer at the end of the day.. My doctor told me not to drink too much but you see a lot more old drunks than you do old doctors....Jimbo
