I bought these to do a cheap closet remake & it did just what I wanted. I built mine 5 wide and 3 high across the entire length of the closet and left room on top so I can still hang things above it. With each cube measuring 11.8” in height and width, I was able to fit 10 pairs of jeans in one cube alone and 20 t-shirts in another. It shipped in a small square box so I was initially a little doubtful. Super easy to put together and it doesn’t need to be built any one way. Perfect for my closet. You can set it up in any shape so I was able to make it fit perfectly in my closet and still have space to hang longer clothes. I was leary about the sturdiness but once you get it locked in it holds up very well. A little tough to snap together in certain places when trying to pop them into the links but nothing I wasnt able to get done with a little force. I had a little trouble, figuring out how to put it together, but once I got the hang of it, it went together really well. You have to make sure you push all the connectors really strongly and then it’s not wobbly at all. Just don’t overload it with heavy stuff. I have some cosmetics in one bin some craft stuff, some extra pajamas, various and sundry things! It works nicely. This storage organizer is easy enough to assemble, and is more sturdy than other brand/styles of similar systems I have purchased as long as you ensure you are inserting the panels into the connectors fully; the included hammer helps there if needed. I do also appreciate this brand includes actual feet giving it a bit more stability as well as a bit of clearance off of the floor, which can be helpful when it is used on carpet. I am rating this 3 starts due to two issues: 1: It does not come with any drawers. The product listing does not say it includes the drawers, however it does not say they are not included, and the same drawers are featured in many of the images so I did expect there to be some included which factored into my decision to purchase this specific item; it is not a good value for the price without them, though not enough to warrant disassembling and returning. 2. The feet and connectors are packaged in pairs which adds extra time in the assembly process opening them all and is needlessly wasteful. ... show more

These shelves saved my cluttered closet! I can't believe how easy this was to put together, and how high-quality it is! I have very low strength and energy, but was able to put it together myself with very little effort -- and sometimes making my bed makes me winded, so that's saying something. I didn't have to use the rubber mallet at all. Everything fit together perfectly and easily. Tips: 1. Start by putting the "floor feet pieces" on all four corners of one square 2. Slide the next square into the sides of the floor pieces, until you have as much of a base as you have room for 3. Each time after connecting a panel onto the side and putting the connectors on the outside of it, reach to put your hand on each of the back outer pieces, and push them together, so that the panels will "click" further into the connectors. Then do the same for the front. Be gentle and mindful of your angles, but firm. (Remember, I'm really weak, so it won't take much pressure.) 4. Slide the vertical panels down onto the connectors. Only put the next layer of connectors onto the back corners of them first, and push down on the top of them like you pushed on the sides. so they'll "click". 5. With the front more "open", it's easier to slide the next layer panel into the back connectors and front side, clicking them in as much as you can. Then you can put that next corner connector onto it, and "pressure" it towards the other front connector you slid the panel into, to get that extra "click". 6. As you finish each layer, do an extra "push" from the two sides to help make sure all that level is "clicked" as much as it will. Since I was putting this up against a closet wall and didn't need to put the back panels in, I decided to see how far I could stretch the materials. there were more than enough parts to make the 3x3 grid that I purchased it for. I had enough pieces to do a 4x3 with a 13th square on the top right, except there was just one central connector short for this plan. So I took a velcro "cord tie" and secured just one of the top-front panels and it works great. These drawers are just 11 x 11 cloth cubes and fit perfectly. I will be hanging shorter things up above, and still have room left over. Highly recommended! ... show more

I’m not gonna lie, setting it up frustrated me because one corner would pop in and another would pop out and it felt a little like playing wack-a-mole. But once I got it set it up it works perfect! I’ve put books and clothes in it and it supports the weight just fine, and once it properly clicks in place it’s much harder to pop it out of place. Just make sure that where you set it up it where you want it, because moving it (unless you glue every joint) isn’t really an option. You can disassemble and move it if you want it somewhere else. But it’s a great size, it’s a true black, and I have been playing around with its many uses. ... show more
