This impact driver is light weight and ergonomically balanced. This makes it easy on the wrist and forearm for getting into confined spaces like cupboards or roof spaces and particularly those hard to reach areas on my sailboat. It has a significant lower cost advantage over other well known brands that are available locally in Cape Town without compromising quality. I think it is a good buy and I expect a long service life. The only downside is that it shipped with a 110V input rated battery charger rather than the 220V matched to the South African grid. This was easily overcome though with a step-down voltage converter adapter.

I've been using the Kimo products for a few years and find them to be very reliable and the quality is as good as any of the 'named' brands. I will continue to buy and use the tools. This provides the additional power needed for the tools being used with it.

This 4Ah battery has been a nice addition to my Kimo jobsite blower. Holds its charge over time and gives me much longer run time. As with the blower, its construction is a little more "clunky" that name brand tools, but if you're on a budget, this is a great choice.

I bought this battery because I noted the original one that came in the drill kit, didn't stay charged long enough for anything other than a small job. I bought some gutter covers from Amazon to install (installing in May '22) and figured the cordless KIMO would be perfect for the job, with the extra battery I bought. However, after setting up, I put the freshly charged battery in the drill, pulled the trigger, it made a whimper and then was dead. Nothing since. I tried a different battery to no avail. It has a 2-year warranty I believe, so I figure they will stand by their product and expect it to last well over the 2-year point, so I am disappointed. In addition, after contacting KIMO per their inserted paperwork, and providing info regarding the issue, they quickly said it was some other company's product and they passed me off to them. Its sold under the KIMO brand, but something goes wrong and they put it off on someone else. Do not buy from them -- too risky and they don't stand by their products with their name on them.

Reviews say it all. Best-in-class! And, with the option of choosing the setting for how much torque to use, you can't go wrong on any project. I prefer polite holes for a cleaner, well-put-together finish, but whether you create polite holes this thing will dig like a grave and set each screws with ease. SHOUT OUT to KIMO. DA TROOF YO.
