It's soft like chinchilla fur. It's thin, and it feels like it might come apart if I vacuum it, but it was $20, so. It doesn't slide on the floor, but if I wear socks I feel like I'm going to slip and die. It did smell weird for a few days but it's okay now. I kinda want to roll around on it.

We bought this to cover some of our wood floors so that our older dog would not be slipping. I liked it so much I bought more for my bedroom. Can't beat the price. It is somewhat sturdy. I've had it for about 6 months, and I am JUST starting to see the edging separating from a high traffic part of the rug. It gets LOTS of wear and tear. It's also had a few things spill on it and we used our rug shampooer on it. It held up OK - It looked flat and weird for a few days after until it got worn back in again. It is exactly what you would hope for the price. Also - it comes in a REALLY small package - I was totally disappointed when I first received it - I couldn't believe it would fit in the vacuum bag it came in. And was thinner than it looks in the pictures, but once you shake it out - it really fluffs up, but definitely not what I expected initially - but it is REALLY cheap for a rug!!! ... show more
