The media could not be loaded. I was in desperate need of a baby monitor and decided to give this one a try. We live in a 2 story house and it's very hard to hear my son in his room upstairs when I'm downstairs. Overall I really like this baby monitor. I've had it for months now and have only noticed a couple minor issues with it. THE GOOD: * Really good price point for what you get. I would definitely buy this monitor if I wasn't a tester and had to pay for it. * You can adjust the volume, and when the volumes low you can still hear your child cry. It just reduces background noise and if you're child tosses and turns in bed. When you turn the volume all the way up you can hear everything very clearly. * The pictures in black and white, but you can adjust the brightness. The picture is decent, and you can see even if the room is dark. * The monitor charges pretty quick, and full charge lasts about 8 hours. Even longer if you turn it off when not in use. * The monitor is very durable. My son gets ahold of it, and throws it, chews on it, drops it, etc.. So after months of my son abusing it there's been no damage lol. * I like that it has a speak through feature. You can press the microphone button on the monitor talk, and your child can hear you through the camera. * You can pick from 4 different lullabies on the monitor that will play through the camera. * You can buy, and connect up to 4 cameras. * You can zoom in and out. * I also love that you can move the camera up, down, left, right. So you don't have to risk waking up your child if the camera needs adjusted. * Also another cool feature is it shows you the temperature of the room on the monitor. * I really really like that it has a pretty good range. My house is a 4 bedroom 2 story house and I get signal up to about 15 feet away from my front or back door. THE BAD: * The monitor will sometimes drop signal for no reason, but it's only once in a while, and quickly reconnects. So it's just a minor thing. I don't mind, because of how fast it re-connects but others might. * The picture is not perfect quality, but again I don't really mind that either. It's good enough quality to see what's going on. * When you turn on a lullaby it plays it through the camera and the monitor. I wish you could turn it off on the monitor so it only plays on the camera end. I would definitely recommend this baby monitor if you're on a budget looking for a baby monitor that's packed with features at a really good price point. I would describe it like a knock-off of the expensive baby monitors. Not quite as fancy, and perfect, but almost just as good. ... show more

I requested this baby monitor so that my brother could have an extra set when staying at our grandpa's house, eliminating the need to bring his own monitors every time. I must say, the price of this monitor is about a third of what my siblings are paid for the ones they are using at home, yet its overall quality and performance have been outstanding in relation to its price point. The 3.5" screen provides a clear image, and the video and audio quality for monitoring the baby is more than satisfactory. It allows my brother to keep a close eye on my nephew from anywhere in the house. The remote pan-tilt-zoom feature is incredibly convenient, as it enables adjusting the camera angle without disturbing the little angel. Additionally, the night vision capability works well even in low-light conditions, providing a decent-quality view. My brother has had no issues monitoring the baby during nighttime. The temperature monitoring feature is a great addition as well, as it allows him to keep track of the room temperature and ensure the baby's comfort. The two-way talk function has been helpful in soothing the baby from a distance (like he needs to hurry back to the baby when the baby wakes up while he is away). With a range of up to 960ft, he has the flexibility to move around the house while staying connected to the baby. This product included the camera unit, the remote monitor control unit, two wall plug power adapters 5v 0.7A with barrel connectors, wall mounting screw and base, and a user manual. This unit does dowkr right out of the box when the camera is plugged in and the remote monitor control unit is powered up. There's no need for pairing. This system works on the 2.4 GHz and not on Wi-Fi so that only the remote monitor control unit can see the camera. This is a big plus for privacy to ensure that only the you can see the camera. This product has two way audio, so that the remote monitor control unit can use push to talk to send to the camera. The camera also has 2x zoom, temperature monitor, and auto infrared night vision when the room is dark. There's also 4 music/tunes that the remote monitor control unit to play through the camera. All the features and function of the product is detailed in the manual and they all work. The only con of this product is the resolution of the display on the remote monitor control unit. You can easy see the large pixels and lines of the screen and they look nothing as pictured on the product listing pictures. I've seen another baby monitor product with HD display and it's looks much more crisp than this. Nonetheless, all the functions of this product does work and is well documented. ... show more

A big plus is the camera could be tiled, panned and zoomed in/out via the monitor. Isn't the greatest in picture quality nor night vision, but I could see what's going on in the kids bedroom, and the sound is pretty clear compared to other brand monitors I've used before. Crying, talking, or even murmuring are pretty clear on the monitor side. Another feature that I find very useful that isn't mentioned in the product description is the built-in tripod adapter. I never seen this feature in any of the older ones that I used before but had been wanting to have it for portability. Cons: both the camera and the monitor need to be plugged in. I'm not a big fan that wired gadgets. I wish they could come up with a wireless version for extreme portability. ... show more
