My kids used these in swim lessons. I love how they can have full range of motion of their arms. They kick their feet more and actually try to swim instead of just float.

Okay, I’ll admit—I was super skeptical about this floaty at first. But wow, consider me converted! Not only is it adorable, but it actually teaches proper swimming posture. My daughter picked up the basics so naturally that when we took it off, she was already swimming like a pro! If you’re trying to teach your little one how to swim without turning into a full-time swim coach, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

This is great for my 4 year old who almost knows how to swim! I love the safety features on the buckle and the strap adjuster. The strap is super long though which can be pretty annoying for him. Great value for the money and provides just a little bit of extra support for him so swim!

They had these at my daughter's swim lessons, and she loved it. I came to amazon, and found this one. The reviews are all right. Works well, and if I take two off then she can still do back floats, etc. So she's still actively learning all her skills, just a little more safely.

First off this is not a safety device. I work as a swim instructor, teaching kids of all ages. I use this to help kids work on their confidence in the water. This gives kids a comfort boost in the water to swim independently. Use supervision when any child uses it. I view this as common since. This can separate into smaller floats or can be split into 2 floats. As the child becomes stronger in the water you can lessen the amount of floats you use. This puts a child in a free position most of the time. I do have to encourage kids to kick behind them, and stretch out their arms. Some kids in the begging will angle their feet down to the floor. This is normal for a beginning swimmer. The goal is to get them into a beginning freestyle swim. This helps to do this with a lot of practice in the pool.
