I like this tablet a lot. I got it for when the grandkids come over, they have their own tablets but don't always bring them so it's nice to have one here designated for them to use. It doesn't sit idle though when they aren't here - I downloaded the Kindle App and some other Apps, Netflix, and games for myself on here. The tablet has the ability for me to transfer things from my phone, such as my mail account, photos, etc - but I'm keeping this tablet simple and didn't do that. Just stating it has the ability to, for review purposes. For the kids section the tablet requires a Google account to be set up in order to access the Kids' Apps and set up the parental controls. My grandkids have their own Google accounts, that their parents set up when they go their own tablets, and that works to log in on this tablet. If a new account is needed it's very easy to set up, everything is a step by step walk through. SET UP: Super easy set up, it walks you though connecting to Wifi, transferring any data, and setting up the Kids' section which comes with numerous options for what Apps can be downloaded/viewed, screen time management, etc. CASE: Very tough case. I like the texture on the back which makes it easy to hold. The case is definitely designed with kids in mind - it's sturdy and durable - but I find I like it the case too, especially when propping up the tablet or just moving it around the house. It takes some maneuvering to get the tablet itself in/out of the case - which I appreciate because then it's not easy for kids to do that. The tablet absolutely stays put in the case. I did change the setting to allow the table to auto-rotate, then locked it, so that the case's handle is at the top of the screen. It just makes more sense to me with it that way and for leaning the case back as well. I swiped up on the screen to find the controls for setting that. VIEWING: The screen and Apps are crystal clear. Super easy to navigate by touch screen. Brightness and sound can be controlled like most any similar device, via the Settings. Would recommend!

So there are some positives and negatives about this tablet. Lets start with the plus side: - The case is easy to take on and off- which could also be a minus if the child routinely removes it - The case is super durable and cushy. Its like a thick spongy plastic, so even if you threw it at someone it probably wouldnt hurt. - The case adjusts to different positions, and its easy to prop up to watch a show and then unfold and carry it around by the large handle - Once you finally get it going, the Google Kids Space apps are fun and educational - The parental controls are super robust - you can lock almost everything down and feel secure that your child is ONLY viewing what you have allowed. You can even set it so you get a notification on your phone almost every time your child does something. Now for the challenging part: I am a pretty technical person and have worked in tech for over 20 years and it took me a couple of hours to get everything set up. First I had a problem connecting to Wifi. The pop-up screen to enter my password kept covering the "connect" button and I couldnt get it to connect until I found another screen to connect from. I guess because its essentially a Google Tablet, you HAVE to log in with a Google account. Then, once we got on Wifi - it wanted me to create a children's Google account to link to my Google account. At various steps, the tablet would get quirky and revert to a different screen before I could finish set up. Other times it would just hang, saying it was setting up but never making progress. Then it wouldnt recognize the password I created for the childrens Google Account. Eventually I rebooted the tablet and magically everything went smoothly from there. Once I was in and navigated to and installed a couple of the apps, I handed it to my granddaughter to try. She loved the game with the bear and it was very intuitive because she didnt need to ask for help Overall, as long as you expect to have to use your Google account and also create one for your child/grandchild, its a pretty cool tablet. While it was frustrating setting up all of the parental controls, I was impressed with all of the options you have to keep your kid safe from the crazy thing s on the internet. Also good to note that it comes with only 4G RAM/ 64ROM - but you can add up to 1TB micro SD card to expand the hard drive. There was no issue playing any of the games, but you will probably need to periodically clear the data to keep it running smoothly.

This 10 inch tablet for kids is a great solution for the little ones at an affordable price. The tablet comes with a case that is easy to carry as it has a nice handle and the handle also folds in and it turns into a stand. The case is made with thick rubber and looks bright and high quality. The tablet has high quality image that is very clear and crisp, it has a touchscreen that is fast to respond to the touch, wi-fi, Bluetooth and 4G capabilities. The operating system is Android and my 6 year old son is able to add all his favorite apps like YouTube kids, Netflix, Disney+, and a bunch of educational apps that I like. The tablet has parental controls that allows for screen time, age appropriate apps, whether the child can have access to a web browser, it is a really great tool for parents and a safety feature for kids. The battery lasts for about 2 days with heavy use so the battery has a pretty good life. It took me a lot longer to set up this tablet than previous ones, it was over an hour for the set up and my son already had a google account. It took a few tries for the tablet to finally accept my son's account details but once it logged in all his apps from a previous tablet downloaded easily and even his avatar was transferred. Overall, this is a great tablet and I highly recommend it.
