This is an amazing little device! It was super easy for my 11 year old to figure out how to navigate. There are a lot of different apps available on it, and as a parent I loved how easy it was to remove the ones we didn’t need in the parental controls. This is exactly what I was looking for. They get access to their music without it having to be on my device or a one with more significant screen temptation. Definitely read the directions, even though the setup is intuitive, there are small things that the directions helped with. For example, I wanted to remove Chrome access. I am didnt want them to have unchecked internet access. I uninstalled it even though there is an option to just remove it from view, but at that time I hadn't read the instructions. There are plenty of app options for whatever music system you use. The sound without headphones is pretty decent. They can play it in the open and not disturb others. I was impressed. Th customer service has been very responsive as well. The kids setup passwords that they forgot and locked us all out. Turns out there is a separate device pin from the parental password pin. All of this is in the directions... we just didnt read them. The internet connectivity has been smooth. The headphones it came with have been fine for the kids. So far, I would definitely say I am getting value for my money.

Not easy to add musc. It said to drag and drop files which I did and when I went to press music none of the songs showed up. It claimed that it recognized mp3, mp4, and wma which is what they all were but didn't play or recognize any of them.

Great alternative to giving kids a phone for music, only complaint is that processing can be a bit slow but for what we use it for, it's not that big of a deal. Kids love them and use them on a daily basis, makes for a very quiet car ride 😉

This is great! A great way to give my son an MP3 player without the games and other stuff. There’s a slot for an extra SD card for music but we just use our Spotify account and hotspots or WiFi. Easy set up and my 6 year old can also access audible or Libby on it. Comes with a case and headphones and fits great for little hands. Functions without stalling up and can listen without headphone but the speaker is quiet. The battery lasts a good 6 hours

My ten-year old loves this MP3 player! She listens to audiobooks during long car rides or when she is helping with chores. It is also perfect for when she gets dragged along to watch her older siblings play sports. It was easy to set up her Audible account and it has stood up to heavy use over the last six months. It's a great product!

Simple player for my kids, we liked my daughter's so much we later ordered the same one for my son! They are age 7/8 and they can operate it on their own. I use the parental controls inside the player to give them access to just a few apps. They use Spotify and Amazon music mostly, and I've downloaded other content they can play via the File Manager. If they "favorite" some songs on Spotify they can hear them when there's no wifi. Kudos to Luoran customer service for helping me reset my parental password when I forgot it - they replied in a day with instructions when I thought emailing them would be a long shot!
