This is one of those toys that really are worth the purchase. We have loved exploring leaves, sand, bugs, hands, you name it with the Microscope. The dual camera function was an added bonus to take regular pictures as well. We mainly use it to look at things immediately through the viewer but the SD card can be used to export pictures. Highly recommended and it was a hit with our group 5-13 yr olds.
