The media could not be loaded. What a fun retro gaming experience! 100 16-bit games are pre-loaded on this device, no sign-ups or internet required. This is a kids' item, but I think we are going to share it... it's so fun! Some of the games I have heard of, some I have not. Scroll through the games using the controls to view about 10 titles at a time. The controls are intuitive, especially if you have experience with any other similar devices past or present. The screen imagery is clear and crisp with vibrant colors. The sounds are a throwback and the volume can be controlled with the volume button. The device charges with a micro-USB charger, NOT Type-C, so be sure to keep up with the included cable. I originally got a defective device with my order that showed a red line across the screen... the seller was quick to reach out and offer a replacement device. They were very helpful and responsive, correcting the issue in no time. My replacement device works flawlessly and provides tons of disconnected fun for my six year old. I really like to see her enjoying these retro titles, but probably the biggest plus is that the device does not connect to the internet. She's not playing with other gamers around the globe, she is playing on her own with no connection to precarious influences. And she loves it! It's great for travel as well, giving the kiddo something to do in the car to pass time. If it dies, we just recharge it while we travel and it is ready to go again. If you're X or Millenial, you're going to feel some nostalgia here, and you can share it with your kids! Highly recommend for some retro fun, see the video and pictures for measurements and more detail.

I had purchased this console and a blue one for my neice and nephew. I wanted to get them some handheld consoles that they can play games on without access to wifi and me or another adult having to monitor what they’re doing. Also the games on their tablets are frustrating because you either have to subscribe or pay for the game and there are endless ads. I will say the console is very lightweight. Despite that it didn’t feel like it would immediately break or anything. The screen is small but it’s appropriate for the size of the handheld. It’s plenty big enough to fully enjoy a game. The game options were also decent. I had bought these for a 5 and 6 year old so I appreciate that they had pictures/preview images of the games as you scrolled because they don’t read the best yet. They had a lot of games to choose from, 100 is on the lower end of some of these preloaded devices however depending on your purposes it may be sufficient. Some of the games were not in English. I also appreciate they include a headphone jack so I don’t have to hear the game they are enjoying. I did ultimately choose to return it for something that offered a little more gaming options. They have been talking about Nintendo games and PS1 games and I didn’t think this would keep their attention. I did end up choosing more premium retro consoles for this reason. That however is no shortcoming of the product, it was my personal preference. I only take away one star because for this price point there are other options that offer more than twice the amount of games. I would also look elsewhere if you’re purchasing for an older kid, teenager or adult. I personally feel this is more appropriate for like 5-8 year olds

As advertised- there 100 different retro games loaded onto this device- some of which are definitely old favorites of my own. Performance wise- the buttons aren’t always as responsive as they should be- but they do work. The screen is bright and the colors are vivid. Be aware- this device requires a micro USB cable to charge. One pet peeve I stumbled across was the clunky volume settings. It automatically boots up on the loudest of three available settings- and it s unpleasant every time. I ended up choosing to play with the sound muted and it’s not particularly a good quality sound anyhow. I personally consider this little gaming device to be more of a novelty/gag gift for the nostalgic millennial/gen x adults in your life- or perhaps very small children who aren’t necessarily ready to own an expensive gaming device.

This little handheld is a blast from the past! It comes preloaded with games, mostly Sega Genesis and SNES titles, and the transparent Game Boy, style design makes it feel super nostalgic (i got purple). The controls are simple and intuitive, the screen is bright and colorful, and it’s great for passing the time without any internet distractions. At $20, it’s a total steal for a quick nostalgia fix, but also because it's $20, don't expect the highest build quality, but all plastic. Pros: Tons of preloaded games, easy to use, bright colorful screen, portable, nostalgic design, and super affordable. Cons: Snone Overall, it’s not a hardcore gaming machine, but for cheap retro fun or sharing with the kids or for yourself if you like me, grew up during the Genesis vs SNES era, it’s perfect.

Unfortunately this retro console is kind of terrible. Some of the games don't even load. Some freeze up. Sometimes the device doesn't want to power on. Sometimes the screen completely goes black and you have to restart it over and over. I just feel like I could have spent more and got a better system. This was definitely a cheap buy for my kiddo for Christmas, and I really wish I had spent more because quality does matter.
