This is one of those “if I could give it negative stars I would” reviews. First, during assembly, on one of the wheels, the part that connected to the hub assembly (see photos) was totally warped and we had a heck of a time getting that put together. Also, a hole where the seat back was supposed to connect was also warped and not the right size, I had to literally cut a piece of the plastic out to make the connection work. My son was so excited for this on Christmas and it worked great that day. The next time he tried to use it, even though it was fully charged, it wouldn’t go more than a few feet! Amazon couldn’t exchange because it was no longer available; the company was very difficult to get ahold of. When someone finally got back to me, a new battery wasn’t available, and I’m not even sure if that’s what the problem was. So eventually we had to break it down and just return it! It is a great power wheel car for my 5 and 3 year old. They use it all the time and it drive very well on the sidewalk and in the yard (small rocks, no grass...we live in the desert). The battery life isn't the best but it does last for a decent amount of time. It takes while to charge.

This is going to be a big hit with my granddaughter. It’s for her 5th birthday. I was a bit worried about assembly based on some of the reviews, but it was easy and I was able to get it done in about an hour.

If your starter switch goes out(and it will at some point) pull the starter switch out. On the back there are 4 connectors for the wires. Remove wires From the two connectors currently in use and plug in to the other two connectors. Boom, problem solved!
